انتشر على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي مقطع مصور يوثّق تعرّض طفل فلسطيني من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة لاعتداء وحشي داخل بلدة يطا جنوب الخليل، ما أثار سخطاً واسعاً وغضباً شعبياً. يظهر الفيديو الطفل وهو مقيد إلى الحائط ويتعرض للضرب المبرح على أيدي اثنين من أقاربه باستخدام كابلات وخراطيم، بينما تُسمع صرخاته وتبتسم وجوه من يصوّر المشهد.
تصاعد الغضب
تتداول بعض الروايات أن الاعتداء جاء نتيجة خلاف مرتبط بمبلغ صغير كان الطفل قد أخذه لشراء طعام له ولأسرته، لكن هذا التبرير لم يخفف من استنكار رواد وسائل التواصل الذين وصفوا الحادثة بأنها «جريمة مزدوجة» تنتهك كرامة طفل ضعيف كان الأولى بعائلته أن تحميه.
توقيف مشتبهين
أعلنت الأجهزة الأمنية الفلسطينية إلقاء القبض على المتورطين في الحادثة، وتحويل الطفل إلى الطب الشرعي لتوثيق الإصابات وإجراء الفحوصات الطبية اللازمة، فضلاً عن تقديم الرعاية الصحية له. وقال المتحدث باسم الشرطة إن التحقيق جارٍ مع المشتبه بهم تمهيداً لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية المناسبة.
تشديد على المحاسبة
زار محافظ الخليل الطفل في المستشفى ومعه ممثلو الأجهزة الأمنية وشخصيات محلية وحركية، حاملين تحيات الرئيس محمود عباس، ومؤكدين أن الجهات الحكومية تعطي أولوية لحماية الأشخاص ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة. وجاءت التصريحات الرسمية بصيغة ضمان عدم إفلات المتورطين من العقاب وتوجيه بتأمين كل أشكال الدعم الطبي والنفسي للطفل.

هيمنت مشاعر الغضب والاشمئزاز على تعليقات الجمهور، ودعا ناشطون إلى إنزال أقسى العقوبات بحق المعتدين، وإلى فتح تحقيق شفاف يُظهر نتائج الإجراءات القانونية ويمنع تكرار مثل هذه الجرائم داخل الأسر والمجتمعات المحلية.

Rising Anger
Some accounts suggest that the assault was the result of a dispute related to a small amount of money the child had taken to buy food for himself and his family, but this justification did not lessen the condemnation from social media users who described the incident as a "double crime" that violates the dignity of a vulnerable child who should have been protected by his family.
Arrest of Suspects
The Palestinian security forces announced the arrest of those involved in the incident and the transfer of the child to forensic medicine to document his injuries and conduct necessary medical examinations, in addition to providing him with healthcare. The police spokesman stated that an investigation is ongoing with the suspects in preparation for taking appropriate legal action.

The governor of Hebron visited the child in the hospital along with representatives of the security forces and local and movement figures, carrying greetings from President Mahmoud Abbas, and confirming that government agencies prioritize the protection of people with special needs. Official statements were made in the form of a guarantee that those involved would not escape punishment and directives were issued to ensure all forms of medical and psychological support for the child.
