شهدت القاهرة اليوم (السبت) انطلاق فعاليات المؤتمر الدولي الأول لدعم التعليم والتدريب والرعاية لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة، تحت شعار «نحو مستقبل أكثر شمولاً وإنسانية»، بمشاركة نخبة من الأكاديميين والخبراء ومؤسسات المجتمع المدني وهيئات عربية ودولية، على أن تستمر أعماله حتى الرابع عشر من سبتمبر 2025.
برلمانية مصرية: ذوو الهمم قادرون على العطاء
في كلمتها الافتتاحية، أكدت النائبة داليا سعد عضو البرلمان المصري أن الإعاقات الجسدية وكف البصر ما هي إلا اختبار من الله، مشددة على أن ذوي الهمم قادرون على العطاء ويملكون الحق في ذلك. وأضافت أن الله اختصهم بميزات عظيمة، وأن تجارب عديدة حول العالم أثبتت أن الكثير منهم تفوقوا وحصلوا على جوائز عالمية. وأشارت سعد إلى أن من واجب المجتمع أن يفخر بهم ويؤمن بقدراتهم، داعية إلى دمجهم في التعليم العام باعتبارهم أسوياء يستحقون فرصاً متساوية. كما أكدت أن مصر، بتوجيهات من الرئيس، تعمل على ترسيخ سياسات وطنية توفر بيئة جاذبة لهذه الفئة كخيار إستراتيجي لدعم التنمية الاجتماعية والاستفادة من طاقاتهم.
منصة لتعزيز التعاون العربي والدولي
من جانبها، أوضحت رئيسة المؤتمر الدكتورة سمية القاضي، أن هذا الحدث يمثل منصة نوعية لتعزيز التعاون العربي والدولي، ويفتح آفاقاً جديدة لتبادل الخبرات واستعراض المبادرات الناجحة في مجال تمكين ذوي الإعاقة بالتعليم والرعاية الشاملة.
الغامدي: ذوو الهمم شركاء صناعة المستقبل
وعبّر راعي المؤتمر عبدالله الغامدي عن اعتزازه برعاية هذا الحدث، مؤكداً أن ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة شركاء أساسيون في صناعة المستقبل، وأن دعمهم وتمكينهم حق أصيل وواجب على الجميع. وقال الغامدي: «لقاء الخبراء اليوم رسالة إنسانية بأن المجتمع لا يقيس أفراده بقدراتهم الجسدية فقط، بل بعزمهم وإصرارهم وإمكاناتهم»، معرباً عن ثقته في أن مخرجات المؤتمر ستكون خطوة لبناء مجتمع أكثر عدلاً وشمولاً.
دعم إستراتيجي وتمكين شامل
أكد أمين عام المؤتمر الدكتور أشرف الليثي، أن الحدث يمثل خطوة إستراتيجية لدعم وتمكين ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة من خلال التعليم والتأهيل، مشيراً إلى أن التعاون العربي والدولي يفتح آفاقاً جديدة لتحقيق الدمج والمساواة وتعزيز التنمية المستدامة.
رسالة إنسانية سامية
بدوره، أوضح الكاتب والإعلامي الدكتور عبدالله غريب، أن المؤتمر يمثل رسالة إنسانية سامية تعكس وعي المجتمعات العربية بأهمية تمكين ذوي الهمم، مشيراً إلى أن الحدث يعزز التكامل بين الجهود الأكاديمية والإعلامية من أجل صناعة واقع أكثر عدلاً وإنصافاً لهذه الفئة الغالية.
التربية الخاصة.. حق أصيل
واختتم رئيس مجلس إدارة مركز إنماء للتربية الخاصة بالبحرين الدكتور عبدالرحمن بن جاسم الغانم، بالتأكيد على أن التربية الخاصة ليست خدمة بل حق أصيل، وأن تمكين ذوي الهمم يعكس التزاماً مجتمعياً وأخلاقياً. وأضاف أن مشاركة المركز في المؤتمر تأتي امتداداً لرؤية تقوم على تطوير البرامج التربوية، وبناء الكفاءات، وتوفير بيئة تعليمية دامجة تسهم في صناعة مجتمع أكثر شمولاً وإنسانية.
Cairo witnessed today (Saturday) the launch of the first international conference to support education, training, and care for people with disabilities, under the slogan "Towards a More Inclusive and Human Future," with the participation of a select group of academics, experts, civil society institutions, and Arab and international organizations, and the conference will continue its activities until September 14, 2025.
Egyptian Parliament Member: People of Determination Are Capable of Giving
In her opening speech, MP Dalia Saad, a member of the Egyptian parliament, affirmed that physical disabilities and blindness are merely a test from God, emphasizing that people of determination are capable of giving and have the right to do so. She added that God has endowed them with great qualities, and many experiences around the world have proven that many of them have excelled and received international awards. Saad pointed out that it is the community's duty to take pride in them and believe in their abilities, calling for their integration into mainstream education as they are normal individuals deserving of equal opportunities. She also confirmed that Egypt, under the guidance of the president, is working to establish national policies that provide an attractive environment for this group as a strategic option to support social development and benefit from their energies.
A Platform to Enhance Arab and International Cooperation
For her part, the conference president, Dr. Sumaya Al-Qadi, explained that this event represents a qualitative platform to enhance Arab and international cooperation, opening new horizons for exchanging experiences and showcasing successful initiatives in the field of empowering people with disabilities through education and comprehensive care.
Al-Ghamdi: People of Determination Are Partners in Shaping the Future
The conference sponsor, Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, expressed his pride in sponsoring this event, affirming that people with disabilities are essential partners in shaping the future, and that supporting and empowering them is a fundamental right and a duty for everyone. Al-Ghamdi stated, "Today's gathering of experts sends a humanitarian message that society does not measure its members solely by their physical abilities, but by their determination, persistence, and potential," expressing his confidence that the outcomes of the conference will be a step towards building a more just and inclusive society.
Strategic Support and Comprehensive Empowerment
The Secretary-General of the conference, Dr. Ashraf Al-Laythi, confirmed that the event represents a strategic step to support and empower people with disabilities through education and rehabilitation, noting that Arab and international cooperation opens new horizons to achieve integration, equality, and enhance sustainable development.
A Noble Humanitarian Message
For his part, writer and media figure Dr. Abdullah Gharib clarified that the conference represents a noble humanitarian message that reflects the awareness of Arab societies regarding the importance of empowering people of determination, pointing out that the event enhances the integration of academic and media efforts to create a more just and equitable reality for this valued group.
Special Education... An Inherent Right
Dr. Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Ghanem, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Enmaa Center for Special Education in Bahrain, concluded by emphasizing that special education is not a service but an inherent right, and that empowering people of determination reflects a community and moral commitment. He added that the center's participation in the conference comes as an extension of a vision based on developing educational programs, building competencies, and providing an inclusive educational environment that contributes to creating a more inclusive and humane society.
