شهدت جزيرة بالي الإندونيسية هذا الأسبوع سيولاً عنيفة أسفرت عن مقتل ستة أشخاص على الأقل، وأدت إلى إغلاق طرق رئيسية في العاصمة دنباسار، مما تسبب في شلل شبه كامل للحركة داخل واحدة من أبرز الوجهات السياحية العالمية.
انهيار مبانٍ وخسائر بشرية
أكد رئيس وكالة البحث والإنقاذ في بالي نيومان سيداكاريا أن الأمطار المتواصلة منذ مساء أمس (الثلاثاء) وحتى صباح اليوم (الأربعاء) تسببت في انهيار مبنيين في عاصمة الجزيرة، ما أسفر عن وفاة أربعة أشخاص.
فيما أعلنت وكالة مكافحة الكوارث الإندونيسية عن مقتل شخصين آخرين وإجلاء 85 شخصاً في منطقة جمبرانا غربي الجزيرة.
مطار بالي تحت الضغط
أوضح سيداكاريا أن الوصول إلى مطار بالي الدولي أصبح صعباً للغاية بسبب الفيضانات، حيث لم تتمكن من عبور الطرق المؤدية إليه سوى الشاحنات الكبيرة، ما يهدد بتعطيل حركة السياحة والسفر في الجزيرة.
فرق الإنقاذ ومشاهد مرعبة
دفعت السلطات بنحو 200 عنصر إنقاذ للمناطق المتضررة، فيما أظهرت مقاطع فيديو متداولة على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي السيول وهي تجرف السيارات وتغمر الطرقات، مسببة شللاً تاماً لحركة المرور.
امتداد الكارثة
ولم تقتصر الخسائر على بالي فقط، إذ أفادت وكالة مكافحة الكوارث بأن الأمطار الغزيرة أدت أيضاً إلى فيضانات في شرق نوسا تينجارا، حيث لقي أربعة أشخاص حتفهم.

Building collapses and human losses
The head of the search and rescue agency in Bali, Nyoman Sidakarya, confirmed that the continuous rain since last night (Tuesday) until this morning (Wednesday) caused the collapse of two buildings in the island's capital, resulting in the death of four people.
Meanwhile, the Indonesian disaster management agency announced the deaths of two more individuals and the evacuation of 85 people in the Jembrana area in the west of the island.
Bali airport under pressure
Sidakarya explained that access to Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali has become extremely difficult due to the floods, with only large trucks able to navigate the roads leading to it, threatening to disrupt tourism and travel on the island.
Rescue teams and terrifying scenes
The authorities deployed about 200 rescue personnel to the affected areas, while videos circulating on social media showed the floods sweeping away cars and inundating roads, causing complete paralysis of traffic.
Extension of the disaster
The losses were not limited to Bali alone, as the disaster management agency reported that the heavy rains also led to flooding in East Nusa Tenggara, where four people lost their lives.
