وأعادت الواقعة إلى الأذهان حادثة مشابهة وقعت قبل ثلاثة أشهر، عندما نشر شاب يُدعى كامليش من إحدى القرى الهندية فيديو له وهو يستلقي على القضبان أثناء مرور قطار، قبل أن تعتقله الشرطة لاحقاً بعد انتشار المقطع بشكل واسع.
