شهدت مدينة القصاصين الجديدة بمحافظة الإسماعيلية واقعة غير مألوفة، بعدما أقدم مجهولون على سرقة ثمرة الفراولة من يد تمثال الفلاحة الشهير المعروف باسم «ملكة الفراولة»، ما أثار موجة واسعة من الجدل بين السخرية والاستنكار على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.

أوضح رئيس مركز ومدينة القصاصين المهندس مدحت عباس في تصريحات إعلامية أن الشرطة أُخطرت لفتح تحقيق عاجل وتفريغ كاميرات المراقبة بهدف التعرف على هوية المخربين، مشدداً على ضرورة رفع وعي المواطنين بأهمية الحفاظ على الممتلكات العامة.
إعادة الترميم بسرعة
وأكدت السلطات المحلية أنه سيتم تركيب مجسم جديد لثمرة الفراولة خلال وقت قصير، بعد أن تسبب التخريب في تلف يد التمثال بالكامل.

تمثال «ملكة الفراولة» من تصميم الفنان التشكيلي رائد جلال، ويقع في منتصف دوران الكوبري العلوي بمدينة القصاصين. ويجسد التمثال تقديراً لدور المرأة المصرية في جني محصول الفراولة، الذي يُعد من أبرز المحاصيل الزراعية لمحافظة الإسماعيلية.

The head of the Al-Qassasin Center and City, Engineer Medhat Abbas, stated in media remarks that the police were notified to open an urgent investigation and review the surveillance cameras in order to identify the perpetrators, emphasizing the need to raise citizens' awareness of the importance of preserving public property.

Local authorities confirmed that a new model of the strawberry fruit will be installed shortly, after the vandalism caused complete damage to the statue's hand.
The Symbolic Message of the Statue
The "Queen of Strawberries" statue was designed by visual artist Raed Jalal and is located in the middle of the roundabout of the upper bridge in Al-Qassasin. The statue embodies an appreciation for the role of Egyptian women in harvesting the strawberry crop, which is considered one of the most prominent agricultural products of Ismailia Governorate.
