نجت طائرة هندية تابعة لشركة «أير إنديا» من كارثة محققة في السماء، بعد اشتعال النيران في المحرك الأيمن للطائرة عقب إقلاعها من مطار دلهي متجهة إلى إندور، لكنها اضطرت للعودة مرة بفضل مهارة طاقهما.
وبعد إقلاع الرحلة AI2913 من مطار دلهي اضطرت للعودة بعد أن تلقى طاقم القيادة إنذارا بحريق في المحرك الأيمن بعد حوالى 30 دقيقة من الإقلاع، بعدما اتبع الطاقم الإجراءات القياسية، إذ أوقف المحرك المعني وطلب إذنا من مراقبة الحركة الجوية للهبوط الطارئ.
وأكدت الخطوط الجوية الهندية «أير إنديا» أن الطائرة التي كانت الطائرة الهندية تحمل على متنها أكثر من 90 شخصا، خضعت لفحص شامل، وتم نقل الركاب إلى طائرة بديلة لاستكمال رحلتهم.
وأشارت الشركة إلى أن سلامة الركاب والطاقم هي الأولوية القصوى، معربة عن أسفها للإزعاج الناتج عن الحادث، في حين بدأت هيئة الطيران المدني التحقيق لتحديد ما إذا كان الإنذار ناتجا عن حريق فعلي أو خلل فني في نظام الإنذار.
وشهدت شركة «أير إنديا»، الناقلة الوطنية الهندية المملوكة لمجموعة تاتا، سلسلة من الحوادث الفنية في الفترة الأخيرة، ما أثار مخاوف بشأن سلامة أسطولها، إذ تأتي هذه الواقعة في سياق متكرر لمشاكل تقنية واجهتها الشركة، حيث سُجلت حوادث مماثلة في يناير ويوليو 2025، بما في ذلك حريق في وحدة الطاقة الإضافية لطائرة قادمة من هونغ كونغ، وحادثة أخرى لتوقف محرك طائرة متجهة من بنغالور إلى دلهي.
وقد أدت هذه الحوادث إلى زيادة التدقيق من قبل المديرية العامة للطيران المدني الهندي بشأن إجراءات الصيانة وسلامة الطائرات، كما أثارت مخاوف الركاب، خصوصا بعد حادث تحطم طائرة في أحمد آباد في يونيو 2025، ما زاد من القلق العام حول سلامة الطيران في الهند.
An Indian aircraft belonging to "Air India" narrowly escaped a disaster in the sky after a fire broke out in the right engine of the plane shortly after taking off from Delhi Airport heading to Indore, but it had to return thanks to the skill of its crew.
After the flight AI2913 took off from Delhi Airport, it was forced to return after the flight crew received a fire warning in the right engine about 30 minutes after takeoff. The crew followed standard procedures, shutting down the affected engine and requesting permission from air traffic control for an emergency landing.
Air India confirmed that the aircraft, which was carrying more than 90 people on board, underwent a thorough inspection, and the passengers were transferred to an alternative aircraft to continue their journey.
The company stated that the safety of passengers and crew is the top priority, expressing regret for the inconvenience caused by the incident, while the Civil Aviation Authority began an investigation to determine whether the warning was due to an actual fire or a technical malfunction in the warning system.
Air India, the national carrier owned by the Tata Group, has experienced a series of technical incidents recently, raising concerns about the safety of its fleet. This incident comes in the context of recurring technical problems faced by the company, with similar incidents recorded in January and July 2025, including a fire in the auxiliary power unit of a plane coming from Hong Kong and another incident involving an engine failure on a flight from Bangalore to Delhi.
These incidents have led to increased scrutiny by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of India regarding maintenance procedures and aircraft safety, as well as raising passenger concerns, especially following a plane crash in Ahmedabad in June 2025, which heightened public anxiety about aviation safety in India.
