شهدت مدينة أنطاليا جنوبي تركيا حادثة غريبة أثارت موجة من الجدل، بعد أن أقدم رجل على محاولة انتحار درامية احتجاجًا على دعوى طلاق رفعتها زوجته.
ووفق وسائل إعلام تركية، اندلع شجار حاد بين الزوجين داخل منزلهما، قبل أن يتجه الرجل إلى شرفة شقته في الطابق الخامس ويتدلّى منها بجسده، مهددًا بالانتحار.
المشهد أثار صدمة زوجته وذهول الجيران والمارة، الذين سارعوا بإبلاغ السلطات.
حضرت فرق الإنقاذ على الفور، ونصبت وسادة أمان أسفل المبنى تحسبًا لسقوطه.
محاولات الزوجة لثنيه باءت بالفشل، قبل أن يتمكن أحد رجال الإنقاذ من إقناعه بالعودة إلى الداخل بعد نحو ساعة.
ولم يتم الكشف عن أسباب الخلاف الذي أشعل شرارة الغضب بين الزوجين ودفع الرجل إلى محاولة الانتحار.

According to Turkish media, a heated argument broke out between the couple inside their home, before the man headed to the balcony of his fifth-floor apartment and dangled his body over the edge, threatening to commit suicide.
The scene shocked his wife and left neighbors and passersby in disbelief, who quickly alerted the authorities.
Rescue teams arrived immediately and set up an airbag beneath the building in anticipation of his fall.
The wife's attempts to dissuade him were unsuccessful, until one of the rescuers managed to convince him to come back inside after about an hour.
The reasons for the dispute that ignited the anger between the couple and drove the man to attempt suicide have not been disclosed.
