ووفقًا لشرطة إدارة شرطة شارلوت-ميكلنبورغ، وقع الحادث حوالى الساعة 9:30 مساءً بالتوقيت المحلي، بعد أن تلقت الشرطة بلاغًا عن طعن في المحطة، وعند وصول الضباط، وجدوا المرأة تعاني من إصابات خطيرة بالسكين، وتم نقلها إلى المستشفى حيث أُعلن عن وفاتها لاحقًا.
