شهدت منطقة المتراس غرب الإسكندرية، اليوم، حادثة تصادم بين قطارين، ما أسفر عن إصابة 4 أشخاص بإصابات طفيفة، جرى نقلهم إلى المستشفى الميري الجامعي لتلقي العلاج اللازم، فيما باشرت فرق الطوارئ بهيئة السكة الحديد، أعمالها لرفع العربات المتضررة وإعادة حركة القطارات إلى طبيعتها.
وتلقت غرفة عمليات محافظة الإسكندرية، إخطارًا بوقوع الحادثة في أثناء سير قطار مكوَّن من أربع عربات محملة بالسولار، حيث اصطدم بإحدى عربات قطار آخر كان متوقفًا على نفس الشريط الحديدي، ما أدى إلى وقوع تلفيات بالعربات وإصابة أربعة أشخاص بينهم السائق والفني وشخصين آخرين، وجرى نقل المصابين الأربعة إلى المستشفى الميري الجامعي لتلقي الرعاية الطبية، وقد خرجوا بعد تلقي الإسعافات المطلوبة.
تسيير حركة القطارات مرة أخرى
وفي الوقت نفسه، دفعت هيئة السكة الحديد بفرق طوارئ وفنيين إلى موقع الحادثة للتعامل مع الأعطال ورفع العربات المتضررة، وجرى تحريك القطارين واستئناف حركة التقاطر مرة أخرى فيما يخص قطارات الإسكندرية مطروح.
Today, a collision occurred between two trains in the Matras area west of Alexandria, resulting in four people sustaining minor injuries. They were transported to the university hospital for necessary treatment, while emergency teams from the Egyptian National Railways began their work to lift the damaged carriages and restore train operations to normal.
The Alexandria Governorate Operations Room received a notification about the incident while a train consisting of four carriages loaded with diesel was in motion, colliding with one of the carriages of another train that was stopped on the same track. This led to damage to the carriages and injuries to four individuals, including the driver, a technician, and two others. The four injured were taken to the university hospital for medical care and were discharged after receiving the required first aid.
Resuming train operations
At the same time, the Egyptian National Railways dispatched emergency teams and technicians to the accident site to address the malfunctions and lift the damaged carriages. The two trains were moved, and train operations resumed again concerning the Alexandria-Matrouh trains.
