شهدت مدينة أسيوط جنوب مصر، حادثة مأساوية، إذ تحوّلت حفلة زفاف أقيمت مساء أمس الثلاثاء، في إحدى قاعات المناسبات إلى واقعة مأساوية بعد إصابة 16 شخصًا بحالات تسمم غذائي إثر تناولهم وجبة دجاج فاسدة.
ووفقًا لمصادر أمنية وطبية، تلقى مدير أمن أسيوط اللواء وائل نصار، بلاغًا من غرفة عمليات النجدة يفيد بوصول 16 حالة إلى مستشفى الإيمان العام، يعانون من أعراض قيء وإسهال ومغص معوي حاد، عقب تناول «وجبة فراخ» مقدمة خلال الحفل.
وأكد المصابون، خلال التحقيقات الأولية، أن الأعراض بدأت بالظهور بعد وقت قصير من تناول الوجبة، التي يُعتقد أنها كانت غير صالحة للاستهلاك.
وانتقلت الأجهزة الأمنية إلى المستشفى للمعاينة، إذ أجريت الفحوصات الطبية اللازمة للمصابين، وتبين أن حالتهم مستقرة بعد تلقيهم العلاجات الأولية، بما في ذلك الإسعافات وإجراءات غسيل المعدة.
وتتولى جهات التحقيق في أسيوط التحقيقات مع صاحب قاعة المناسبات لمعرفة ملابسات الواقعة، بما في ذلك مصدر الوجبة وكيفية تحضيرها، لتحديد ما إذا كانت هناك إهمال أو مخالفات في سلسلة توريد الطعام، كما طالبت النيابة العامة بسرعة إجراء التحريات لتحديد المسؤوليات.
بدوره، أحال محافظ أسيوط اللواء هشام أبو النصر، الواقعة للتحقيق العاجل واتخاذ كافة الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة تجاه أي مخالفة يتم رصدها، مؤكدًا عدم التهاون مع أي تقصير يهدد صحة وسلامة المواطنين.
وكلف بزيارة المصابين والاطمئنان على حالتهم الصحية، كما وجه بإرسال فريق الاستجابة السريعة إلى القاعة محل الواقعة، لأخذ عينات من الأطعمة المقدمة وفحص الموقع بالكامل، إضافة إلى سحب عينات من القيء وتحليلها في المعامل المركزية للوقوف على أسباب الإصابة، واتخاذ ما يلزم من إجراءات وقائية.
The city of Assiut in southern Egypt witnessed a tragic incident, as a wedding party held last night, Tuesday, in one of the event halls turned into a tragic event after 16 people suffered from food poisoning due to consuming spoiled chicken.
According to security and medical sources, the Director of Security in Assiut, Major General Wael Nasar, received a report from the emergency operations room indicating that 16 cases had arrived at Al-Iman General Hospital, suffering from symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea, and severe intestinal cramps, after consuming a "chicken meal" served during the celebration.
The injured confirmed during initial investigations that the symptoms began to appear shortly after consuming the meal, which is believed to have been unfit for consumption.
The security authorities moved to the hospital to inspect the situation, where necessary medical examinations were conducted on the injured, and it was found that their condition was stable after receiving initial treatments, including first aid and stomach washing procedures.
The investigative authorities in Assiut are conducting investigations with the owner of the event hall to understand the circumstances of the incident, including the source of the meal and how it was prepared, to determine whether there was negligence or violations in the food supply chain. The public prosecution has also called for a swift investigation to determine responsibilities.
For his part, the Governor of Assiut, Major General Hisham Abu Nasr, referred the incident for urgent investigation and to take all necessary legal actions against any violations detected, emphasizing that there will be no leniency with any negligence that threatens the health and safety of citizens.
He has tasked officials with visiting the injured and ensuring their health condition, and he directed the dispatch of a rapid response team to the hall where the incident occurred, to collect samples of the food served and thoroughly examine the site, in addition to collecting samples of the vomit and analyzing them in central laboratories to determine the causes of the illness and take necessary preventive measures.
