في خطوة لافتة لمكافحة الجريمة بأسلوب غير تقليدي، لجأت الشرطة في العاصمة الكورية الجنوبية سيول إلى استخدام مجسمات ثلاثية الأبعاد لرجال شرطة بتقنية الهولوجرام.
التجربة، التي بدأت في إحدى الحدائق العامة المزدحمة، تهدف إلى تعزيز شعور السكان بالأمان وردع المخالفين، وأظهرت نتائج أولية تشير إلى تراجع ملحوظ في معدلات الجريمة.
فكل يوم بين الساعة السابعة والعاشرة مساءً، يظهر مجسم شرطي يرتدي الزي الرسمي ويبلغ طوله نحو 170 سم في إحدى الحدائق المزدحمة بحسب «oddity central».
ويذكّر الشرطي الافتراضي المارة برسائل مثل: «الشرطة ستتدخل فورًا في حالات الطوارئ» و«المنطقة مراقبة بالكاميرات».
ورغم أنه ليس شرطيًا حقيقيًا، إلا أن الهدف من التقنية هو بث الطمأنينة لدى السكان وردع السلوكيات المخالفة.
وتشير البيانات الرسمية الأخيرة إلى أن الخطوة أسهمت في تقليل معدلات الجريمة داخل الحديقة.
وقال رئيس مركز شرطة المدينة آن دونج-هيون: «لقد بدأ الشرطي الهولوجرامي يثبت فعاليته كوسيلة ذكية للأمن، فهو يعزز الشعور بالأمان ويمنع التصرفات المزعجة بفضل تأثيره النفسي».
وأضاف: «سنواصل تطوير مبادرات الوقاية من الجريمة باستخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي لتهيئة بيئة آمنة للمواطنين».
ووفقًا لبيانات وكالة شرطة العاصمة سيول، فإن مقارنة معدلات الجريمة قبل وبعد تركيب المجسم أظهرت انخفاضًا بنسبة 22%، وهو ما يعد نتيجة بارزة تؤكد نجاح التجربة.
وأوضحت الشرطة أن هذه التقنية لا يمكنها بطبيعة الحال القبض على المجرمين بشكل مباشر، لكنها أثبتت فاعلية كبيرة في الردع ومنح المواطنين شعورًا بالأمان، مع إمكانية توسيع نطاقها مستقبلًا تبعًا للظروف.
وقال مصدر أمني: «حتى لو أدرك الناس عند الاقتراب أن الشرطي غير حقيقي، إلا أن مجرد الإحساس بوجوده يترك أثرًا رادعًا ملحوظًا».
لكن هذه التجربة لم تلقَ نفس الصدى لدى بعض المواطنين، إذ شبّهها كثيرون على وسائل التواصل بـ«الفزاعة الحديثة»، معتبرين أن تراجع الجرائم قد يكون سببه عزوف الناس عن دخول الحديقة خوفًا من «شرطي شبحي».

The experiment, which began in a crowded public park, aims to enhance residents' sense of security and deter offenders, and initial results have shown a significant decline in crime rates.
Every day between 7 PM and 10 PM, a hologram police officer dressed in uniform, standing about 170 cm tall, appears in one of the busy parks according to "oddity central".
The virtual officer reminds passersby with messages such as: "The police will respond immediately in emergencies" and "The area is under camera surveillance".
Although it is not a real police officer, the goal of the technology is to instill reassurance among residents and deter unlawful behaviors.
Recent official data indicates that the initiative has contributed to reducing crime rates within the park.
The head of the city police station, Ahn Dong-hyun, stated: "The hologram police officer has begun to prove its effectiveness as a smart security measure; it enhances the feeling of safety and prevents disruptive behaviors thanks to its psychological impact."
He added: "We will continue to develop crime prevention initiatives using artificial intelligence to create a safe environment for citizens."
According to data from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, comparing crime rates before and after the installation of the hologram showed a 22% decrease, which is a remarkable result confirming the success of the experiment.
The police clarified that this technology cannot directly apprehend criminals, but it has proven highly effective in deterrence and providing citizens with a sense of security, with the potential for future expansion depending on circumstances.
An security source stated: "Even if people realize upon approaching that the officer is not real, the mere feeling of its presence leaves a noticeable deterrent effect."
However, this experiment did not resonate the same way with some citizens, as many likened it on social media to a "modern scarecrow," considering that the decrease in crimes might be due to people's reluctance to enter the park for fear of a "ghostly officer."
