قررت الحكومة الأمريكية إلغاء خطتها السابقة لتوظيف روبوت الذكاء الاصطناعي «غروك» في تقديم خدماتها، وذلك بعد موجة تغريدات وصفت بأنها «معادية للسامية» نشرها الروبوت.
وكانت شركة «إكس إيه آي» (xAI) تنوي تزويد موظفي الحكومة الأميركية ووكالاتها الفيدرالية بخدمات «غروك»، إلا أن التغريدات المثيرة للجدل حول الصراع الفلسطيني-الإسرائيلي، التي تضمنت صورًا نمطية عن النفوذ اليهودي ووصف إسرائيل بأنها «كيان استعماري عنصري»، دفعت الإدارة الأمريكية إلى التراجع.
وعلى الرغم من أن موقع الشركة الخاص بالخدمات الحكومية لا يزال يحتوي على معلومات عن توفر «غروك» للموظفين، فإن قرار الحكومة يشير إلى احتدام المنافسة بين شركات الذكاء الاصطناعي، بما فيها «أوبن إيه آي» و«آنثروبيك»، التي تقدمان عروضاً مماثلة مقابل دولار واحد شهريًا للموظف.
وكان «غروك» الأقرب للحصول على العقد قبل التغير الأخير، لكن الاعتراضات الداخلية والمحتوى المنشور أدى إلى فقدانه هذه الفرصة، بينما يركز إيلون ماسك وشركته الحالية على منافسة «شات جي بي تي» في الأسواق الرقمية.
The U.S. government has decided to cancel its previous plan to employ the AI robot "Grok" in providing its services, following a wave of tweets described as "anti-Semitic" published by the robot.
The company "xAI" intended to provide U.S. government employees and federal agencies with "Grok" services, but the controversial tweets regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which included stereotypes about Jewish influence and described Israel as a "racist colonial entity," prompted the U.S. administration to backtrack.
Although the company's website for government services still contains information about the availability of "Grok" for employees, the government's decision indicates an intensifying competition among AI companies, including "OpenAI" and "Anthropic," which offer similar services for one dollar per month per employee.
"Grok" was the closest to securing the contract before the recent change, but internal objections and the published content led to its loss of this opportunity, while Elon Musk and his current company focus on competing with "ChatGPT" in digital markets.
