تشهد منصة الألعاب الإلكترونية الشهيرة «روبلوكس» موجة حظر متصاعدة في عدد من الدول، كان آخرها قطر التي أوقفت الوصول إليها في 13 أغسطس 2025، استجابة لمخاوف بشأن تعرض الأطفال لمحتوى غير لائق ومحاولات استغلال عبر بيئة اللعب التفاعلية.
وسبقت تركيا بهذه الخطوة في أغسطس 2024، مبررة قرارها بضرورة حماية القاصرين، بينما حظرت عُمان المنصة منذ 2021 للسبب ذاته.
خارج المنطقة، تفرض الصين وكوريا الشمالية حظراً كاملاً على المنصة، فيما تبقى نقاشات سلامة الأطفال محوراً رئيسياً يحدد مصير «روبلوكس» في أسواق أخرى.
The popular gaming platform "Roblox" is experiencing a rising wave of bans in several countries, the latest being Qatar, which suspended access on August 13, 2025, in response to concerns about children being exposed to inappropriate content and attempts at exploitation through the interactive gaming environment.
Turkey preceded this move in August 2024, justifying its decision by the need to protect minors, while Oman has banned the platform since 2021 for the same reason.
Outside the region, China and North Korea impose a complete ban on the platform, while discussions about child safety remain a key focus that determines the fate of "Roblox" in other markets.
