أقدمت السلطات الروسية في مدينة نوفوسيبيرسك على فتح تحقيق جنائي ضد سائق شاحنة بتهمة الشروع في قتل شخصين أو أكثر، بعدما حاول دهس مجموعة من المارة مرتين متتاليتين في منطقة كيروف، وفق ما أفادت به وسائل إعلام محلية.
وذكر موقع «إزفيستيا» أن السائق تعمد قيادة شاحنته بسرعة باتجاه الضحايا في محاولة «لاستكمال جريمته»، لكن المارة تمكنوا من الفرار في اللحظات الأخيرة، ما حال دون وقوع إصابات خطرة. وأكدت السلطات أن المصابين تلقوا الإسعافات الأولية في موقع الحادث ولم تستدعِ حالتهم النقل إلى المستشفى.
وتحقق لجنة التحقيق الروسية في الحادث باعتباره محاولة قتل، وسط تفاعل واسع على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي التي تداولت مقاطع للحظة الاعتداء.
The Russian authorities in the city of Novosibirsk have opened a criminal investigation against a truck driver on charges of attempted murder of two or more people, after he tried to run over a group of pedestrians twice in a row in the Kirov area, according to local media reports.
The "Izvestia" website mentioned that the driver deliberately drove his truck at high speed towards the victims in an attempt "to complete his crime," but the pedestrians managed to escape at the last moment, preventing serious injuries. Authorities confirmed that the injured received first aid at the scene of the incident and their condition did not require hospitalization.
The Russian Investigative Committee is investigating the incident as an attempted murder, amid widespread reactions on social media that circulated clips of the moment of the assault.
