ضرب زلزال بلغت قوته 5.3 درجة على مقياس ريختر اليوم إقليم «أنتوفاغاستا» الواقع شمال تشيلي.
وذكرت هيئة المسح الجيولوجي الأمريكية في بيان أن مركز الزلزال وقع على بعد 29 كيلومترا من مدينة «كالاما» الواقعة في الإقليم، وعلى عمق 111 كيلومترا.
ولم ترد حتى الآن تقارير بوقوع أضرار مادية أو بشرية جراء الزلزال.
A 5.3 magnitude earthquake struck the "Antofagasta" region located in northern Chile today.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported in a statement that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 29 kilometers from the city of "Calama" in the region, at a depth of 111 kilometers.
No reports of material or human damage have been received so far as a result of the earthquake.
