في واقعة مأساوية هزّت الأوساط التعليمية في مصر، أقدمت طالبة بالصف الثالث الثانوي على محاولة إنهاء حياتها داخل قاعة امتحان مادة اللغة العربية، بإحدى مدارس الثانوية العامة في مدينة ألمنيا الجديدة، بمحافظة ألمنيا.
وتلقّت غرفة عمليات النجدة بلاغًا يُفيد بإقدام الطالبة «فاطمة. ع. ح» (17 عامًا)، المقيمة بمدينة ألمنيا الجديدة، على محاولة الانتحار داخل القاعة، وذلك من خلال تناول أقراص دوائية مجهولة المصدر، ما استدعى تدخلًا عاجلًا من الجهات المختصة.
وحضرت قوات الأمن، يرافقها فريق من الإسعاف، إلى موقع المدرسة، حيث تم نقل الطالبة إلى مستشفى صدر ألمنيا لتلقي الإسعافات والعلاج اللازم، فيما باشرت الجهات المعنية التحقيق في الحادثة للوقوف على ملابساتها ومعرفة دوافع الطالبة وراء اتخاذ هذا القرار.
وجرى تحرير محضر بالواقعة، واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة، كما أُخطرت النيابة العامة لمتابعة سير التحقيقات.
وتسلط هذه الحادثة الضوء من جديد على حجم الضغوط النفسية الهائلة التي يتعرض لها طلاب الثانوية العامة في مصر، في ظل المخاوف المتزايدة من الامتحانات التي يعتبرها كثيرون مفصلية في مستقبلهم الدراسي والأكاديمي.
In a tragic incident that shook the educational community in Egypt, a third-year high school student attempted to take her own life inside the examination hall for the Arabic language subject at a public secondary school in New Al-Minya city, in Minya Governorate.
The operations room received a report indicating that the student "Fatima A. H." (17 years old), residing in New Al-Minya city, attempted suicide inside the hall by ingesting unidentified pharmaceutical pills, which necessitated urgent intervention from the relevant authorities.
Security forces, accompanied by a medical team, arrived at the school site, where the student was transported to Al-Minya Chest Hospital for necessary first aid and treatment, while the concerned authorities began investigating the incident to understand its circumstances and the motivations behind the student's decision.
A report was filed regarding the incident, and necessary legal measures were taken, with the public prosecution being notified to follow up on the investigations.
This incident once again highlights the immense psychological pressures faced by high school students in Egypt, amid growing fears regarding examinations that many consider pivotal for their academic and educational futures.
