توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس لهذا اليوم (الأربعاء)، استمرار هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من مناطق عسير، الباحة، ومكة المكرمة تمتد إلى الأجزاء الشرقية من منطقة المدينة المنورة وكذلك على أجزاء من مناطق حائل، القصيم، الرياض، الشرقية، والحدود الشمالية، في حين تكون خفيفة إلى متوسطة على أجزاء من منطقتي جازان، ونجران مع فرصة تكون الضباب على أجزاء من تلك المناطق.
وأشار التقرير، إلى أن الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة 20-40 كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وجنوبية غربية إلى جنوبية شرقية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 10-32 كم/ساعة تصل إلى 45 كم/ساعة باتجاه مضيق باب المندب، وارتفاع الموج من متر إلى مترين على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط ومن نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الجنوبي يصل إلى مترين باتجاه مضيق باب المندب، وحالة البحر متوسط الموج على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وخفيف إلى متوسط الموج على الجزء الجنوبي.
وفي الخليج العربي شمالية غربية إلى شمالية على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط وشمالية إلى شمالية شرقية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 12-38 كم/ساعة تصل إلى 50كم/ساعة مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف يصل إلى مترين ونصف مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report for today (Wednesday) that moderate to heavy thunderstorms will continue, leading to flash floods accompanied by showers of hail and active winds stirring dust and sand in parts of the Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions, extending to the eastern parts of the Medina region as well as in parts of the Ha'il, Qassim, Riyadh, Eastern, and Northern Borders regions. Meanwhile, light to moderate rain is expected in parts of the Jazan and Najran regions, with a chance of fog forming in parts of those areas.
The report indicated that surface winds over the Red Sea are westerly to northwesterly at a speed of 20-40 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southwesterly to southeasterly in the southern part at a speed of 10-32 km/h, reaching 45 km/h towards the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. Wave heights range from one to two meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part, reaching two meters towards the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. The sea condition is moderate in the northern and central parts and light to moderate in the southern part.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds are northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts, and northerly to northeasterly in the southern part at a speed of 12-38 km/h, reaching 50 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part. Wave heights range from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching two and a half meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part. The sea condition is light to moderate, becoming choppy with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part.
