في حادثة مروعة أثارت حالة من الصدمة والحزن في محافظة سوهاج، أقدم مزارع من نجع مطاوع التابع لقرية أولاد سالم قبلي، بدائرة مركز دار السلام جنوب مصر، على إنهاء حياة أبنائه الثلاثة بوضع مادة سامة في أكواب عصير، قبل أن ينهي حياته شنقًا داخل منزله، على خلفية خلافات أسرية متصاعدة.
ووفقًا لتحريات الأجهزة الأمنية بمديرية أمن سوهاج، تلقى اللواء صبري صالح عزب، مدير الأمن، إخطارًا من مأمور مركز شرطة دار السلام، يفيد بورود بلاغ إلى مستشفى سوهاج الجامعي الجديد بوصول ثلاثة أطفال في حالة تسمم حاد، إلى جانب وصول والدهم جثة هامدة إثر انتحاره شنقًا.
وتبين أن الضحايا هم أبناء المزارع، ومن بينهم طالبة في الصف الثالث الثانوي كانت تستعد لخوض امتحانات الثانوية العامة المقرر انطلاقها الأسبوع القادم.
وكشفت التحقيقات الأولية أن المزارع، الذي يبلغ من العمر 45 عامًا، قام بوضع مادة سامة، يُشتبه أنها قرص حفظ الغلال (مبيد حشري)، في أكواب عصير تناولها أبناؤه الثلاثة، مما أدى إلى وفاتهم متأثرين بالتسمم الشديد.
وبعد ارتكاب الجريمة، استخدم الأب حبلًا لإنهاء حياته داخل المنزل.
وأرجعت المصادر الأمنية الواقعة إلى خلافات أسرية حادة بين المزارع وزوجته، تصاعدت خلال الفترة الأخيرة، مما دفع الأب إلى اتخاذ هذا القرار المأساوي.
وأوضحت مصادر أمنية أن الأبناء الثلاثة كانوا في أعمار متفاوتة، حيث كانت الطالبة الكبرى (17 عامًا) تستعد لامتحانات الثانوية العامة، بينما كان الطفلان الآخران في مراحل دراسية أصغر (14 و11 عامًا تقريبًا).
وتم نقل جثث الضحايا الأربعة إلى مشرحة مستشفى سوهاج الجامعي، حيث أمرت النيابة العامة بتشريح الجثث لتحديد أسباب الوفاة بدقة، والتحفظ على المادة السامة المستخدمة لفحصها معمليًا.
وأثارت الواقعة حالة من الرعب والهلع بين أهالي قرية أولاد سالم، الذين أكدوا أن الأسرة كانت تعاني من ظروف اجتماعية ونفسية صعبة، مع تكرار الخلافات بين الأب وزوجته، مما قد يكون أسهم في هذا الحادث الأليم.
وتجمع الأهالي أمام منزل الأسرة عقب الحادث، معبرين عن حزنهم العميق، خصوصا لوفاة الطالبة التي كانت تُعد من المتفوقات دراسيًا وتستعد لتحقيق حلمها في الالتحاق بالجامعة.
وأشار مصدر طبي بمستشفى سوهاج الجامعي إلى أن حالات التسمم بقرص حفظ الغلال أصبحت ظاهرة مقلقة في المحافظة، خصوصا في المناطق الريفية، حيث يسهل الحصول على هذه المادة الرخيصة والفتاكة.
In a horrific incident that has caused shock and sadness in Sohag Governorate, a farmer from Nagaa Matawi, affiliated with the village of Awlad Salem Qibli, in the Dar al-Salam Center in southern Egypt, ended the lives of his three children by putting a toxic substance in juice cups, before taking his own life by hanging inside his home, amid escalating family disputes.
According to investigations by the security agencies in Sohag Security Directorate, Major General Sabri Saleh Azab, the security director, received a notification from the head of Dar al-Salam Police Station, stating that a report had been received at the new Sohag University Hospital about the arrival of three children in a state of acute poisoning, along with their father, who arrived dead after committing suicide by hanging.
It was found that the victims were the farmer's children, including a student in the third year of secondary school who was preparing to take the upcoming general secondary exams scheduled for next week.
Initial investigations revealed that the 45-year-old farmer had placed a toxic substance, suspected to be a grain preservation tablet (insecticide), in the juice cups consumed by his three children, leading to their deaths from severe poisoning.
After committing the crime, the father used a rope to end his life inside the house.
Security sources attributed the incident to severe family disputes between the farmer and his wife, which had escalated recently, prompting the father to make this tragic decision.
Security sources clarified that the three children were of varying ages, with the eldest student (17 years old) preparing for the general secondary exams, while the other two children were in younger educational stages (approximately 14 and 11 years old).
The bodies of the four victims were transferred to the morgue of Sohag University Hospital, where the public prosecutor ordered autopsies to determine the exact causes of death and to retain the toxic substance used for laboratory examination.
The incident has caused a state of horror and panic among the residents of Awlad Salem village, who confirmed that the family had been suffering from difficult social and psychological conditions, with recurring disputes between the father and his wife, which may have contributed to this tragic incident.
Residents gathered in front of the family's home after the incident, expressing their deep sorrow, especially for the death of the student who was considered one of the top achievers academically and was preparing to achieve her dream of joining university.
A medical source at Sohag University Hospital indicated that cases of poisoning from grain preservation tablets have become a concerning phenomenon in the governorate, especially in rural areas, where access to this cheap and deadly substance is easy.
