شهدت منطقة ميت علوان، التابعة لمحافظة كفر الشيخ المصرية، مقتل محام يدعى أحمد محمد عبدالحميد، بعد تعرضه لاعتداء غادر خلال جلوسه على مقهى شهير بالمنطقة.
وأعلن نقيب المحامين بمحافظة كفر الشيخ فراج زعفان، القبض على المتهم بقتل المحامي أحمد محمد عبدالحميد.
وأكد نقيب المحامين أن الأجهزة الأمنية تمكنت من تحديد هوية المتهم خلال دقائق فقط من ارتكاب الجريمة، وذلك بعد تفريغ كاميرات المراقبة وسماع أقوال شهود العيان. وألقى رجال مباحث قسم أول شرطة كفر الشيخ، (الأربعاء)، القبض على شاب وشقيقته متهمين بقتل محام في العقد الرابع من العمر، بعد التعدي عليه بالرأس بجسم صلب خلال تواجده في مقهى بمدينة كفر الشيخ.
وكان أحمد محمد عبدالحميد، محامٍ بمدينة كفر الشيخ، قد لقي مصرعه أمس ضربا بمنضدة على رأسه في ظروف غامضة، وتم نقله لمستشفى كفر الشيخ العام في محاولة لإسعافه، إلا أنه كان لقي حتفه متأثرا بإصابته، وتم نقل جثمانه لمشرحة مستشفى كفر الشيخ العام تحت تصرف النيابة العامة.

Ahmed Mohamed Abdelhamid, a lawyer in Kafr El Sheikh, was killed yesterday after being struck on the head with a table under mysterious circumstances. He was transported to Kafr El Sheikh General Hospital in an attempt to save him; however, he succumbed to his injuries. His body was transferred to the morgue of Kafr El Sheikh General Hospital under the jurisdiction of the public prosecution.
