أثار سؤال ورد في اختبار تجريبي لمادة التاريخ والجغرافيا، لتلاميذ السنة النهائية بشعبة التسيير والاقتصاد بثانوية أحمد مدغري ببلدة بطيوة في ولاية وهران، غربي الجزائر، موجة غضب واسعة بسبب تضمنه عبارة «قيام دولة إسرائيل».
هذه العبارة، التي اعتُبرت متعارضة مع الموقف الجزائري الرسمي الداعم للقضية الفلسطينية، دفعت مديرية التربية بالولاية إلى فتح تحقيق عاجل وتوقيف المدرس المسؤول عن صياغة السؤال بشكل تحفظي.
وفقًا لصحيفة «الخبر» الجزائرية، تضمن السؤال المثير للجدل طلبًا من التلاميذ لتحرير مقال حول «قيام دولة إسرائيل»، مما أثار استياء الأهالي والمجتمع التعليمي.
مديرية التربية بوهران أرسلت لجنة تحقيق مستعجلة إلى الثانوية للتحقيق في الواقعة، واستمعت إلى المدرس المسؤول ومدير المؤسسة وزملائه في قسم التاريخ والجغرافيا.
وأكد مدير التربية بالولاية عبدالقادر أوبلعيد، أن السؤال يُعد خطأ جسيماً يستوجب إجراءات عقابية صارمة، مشيرًا إلى إحالة المسؤولين عنه إلى المجلس التأديبي.
وخلال التحقيق، دافع المدرس عن نفسه موضحًا أن الهدف من السؤال كان إبراز الجوانب السلبية لاحتلال الأراضي الفلسطينية من قبل إسرائيل، وليس الإشادة بقيامها.
ومع ذلك، اعتبرت مديرية التربية أن استخدام عبارة «قيام دولة إسرائيل» يتعارض مع المناهج التعليمية الجزائرية، التي تصف إسرائيل بالكيان الصهيوني والمحتل، وتؤكد دعم الجزائر الثابت للقضية الفلسطينية.
وأكد مدير التربية أن المناهج الدراسية الجزائرية تلتزم بتعليم الطلاب أن إسرائيل هي كيان محتل، وأن أي انحراف عن هذا الموقف يُعد انتهاكًا خطيرًا.
من جهة أخرى، أشعل السؤال جدلاً على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، إذ عبر البعض عن غضبهم متهمين النظام التعليمي بالتناقض، بينما رأى آخرون أن الأمر قد يكون مجرد خطأ غير مقصود.
A question that appeared in a mock exam for history and geography for final-year students in the management and economics department at Ahmed Medghri Secondary School in the town of Batioua, in the Oran province of western Algeria, sparked widespread outrage due to its inclusion of the phrase "the establishment of the State of Israel."
This phrase, which was considered contradictory to the official Algerian stance supporting the Palestinian cause, prompted the provincial education directorate to open an urgent investigation and to provisionally suspend the teacher responsible for formulating the question.
According to the Algerian newspaper "El Khabar," the controversial question asked students to write an essay on "the establishment of the State of Israel," which provoked the discontent of parents and the educational community.
The Oran education directorate sent an urgent investigation committee to the secondary school to look into the incident, and it listened to the responsible teacher, the school principal, and his colleagues in the history and geography department.
The provincial education director, Abdelkader Oublaïd, confirmed that the question is considered a serious mistake that requires strict punitive measures, indicating that those responsible would be referred to the disciplinary council.
During the investigation, the teacher defended himself, explaining that the aim of the question was to highlight the negative aspects of the occupation of Palestinian territories by Israel, not to praise its establishment.
However, the education directorate deemed that the use of the phrase "the establishment of the State of Israel" contradicts the Algerian educational curricula, which describe Israel as the Zionist and occupying entity, and affirm Algeria's steadfast support for the Palestinian cause.
The education director confirmed that Algerian educational curricula are committed to teaching students that Israel is an occupying entity, and any deviation from this position is considered a serious violation.
On the other hand, the question ignited a debate on social media platforms, with some expressing their anger and accusing the educational system of inconsistency, while others viewed the matter as a mere unintentional mistake.
