شهد مطار شرم الشيخ الدولي، حادثةً مأساويةً أثارت حالة من الصدمة بين المسافرين والعاملين، إذ سقطت لوحة إعلانية ضخمة في منطقة المغادرة على مجموعة من الركاب أثناء انتظارهم صعود طائرتهم، مما أسفر عن وفاة مواطنة كازاخستانية وإصابة اثنتين أخريين من مواطنات كازاخستان بجروح متفاوتة.
ووفقًا لتصريحات المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الكازاخستانية، أيبك صمادياروف، التي نقلتها وكالة سبوتنيك، وقعت الحادثة في صالة المغادرة بالمطار عندما انهارت لوحة إعلانية بشكل مفاجئ على الركاب.
وأكدت السلطات الكازاخستانية أن الضحية، وهي مواطنة كازاخستانية لم يُكشف عن هويتها بعد، توفيت على الفور، بينما أصيبت سائحتان أخريان بجروح تراوح بين المتوسطة والطفيفة.
وتم نقل المصابتين على الفور إلى مستشفى شرم الشيخ الدولي لتلقي العلاج، حيث تتلقيان الرعاية الطبية اللازمة.
من جانبها، أكدت السفارة الكازاخستانية في القاهرة أنها تتابع الحادثة عن كثب، وتعمل على تقديم الدعم القنصلي للمصابين وأسرة الضحية.
كما أشارت إلى أنها تنسق مع السلطات المصرية لضمان نقل جثمان المتوفاة إلى كازاخستان في أقرب وقت.
The Sharm El Sheikh International Airport witnessed a tragic incident that caused shock among travelers and staff, as a massive advertising board fell in the departure area onto a group of passengers waiting to board their flight, resulting in the death of a Kazakhstani citizen and injuries to two other Kazakhstani women with varying degrees of wounds.
According to statements from the spokesperson for the Kazakhstani Foreign Ministry, Aibek Smadiyarov, reported by Sputnik, the incident occurred in the airport's departure lounge when the advertising board suddenly collapsed onto the passengers.
The Kazakhstani authorities confirmed that the victim, a Kazakhstani citizen whose identity has not yet been disclosed, died instantly, while two other tourists sustained injuries ranging from moderate to minor.
The injured were immediately transferred to Sharm El Sheikh International Hospital for treatment, where they are receiving the necessary medical care.
For its part, the Kazakhstani embassy in Cairo confirmed that it is closely monitoring the incident and is working to provide consular support to the injured and the victim's family.
It also indicated that it is coordinating with the Egyptian authorities to ensure the transfer of the deceased's body to Kazakhstan as soon as possible.
