في تطور صادم لعالم الأمن السيبراني، كشف تقرير أمني حديث تعرض خدمة البريد الإلكتروني الشهيرة «Gmail» لاختراق هائل هو من بين الأكبر في تاريخها، حيث تضرر ما يقارب 183 مليون حساب حول العالم.
وذكر موقع «Cybernews» المتخصص في الأمن الإلكتروني أن قاعدة البيانات المسربة تضمنت عناوين البريد الإلكتروني وكلمات المرور المرتبطة بها، مشيرًا إلى أنه جرى تداولها في منتديات القرصنة على الشبكة المظلمة خلال الأيام الماضية.
ورجّح خبراء أن تكون هذه المعلومات ناتجة عن دمج وتسريب بيانات من اختراقات سابقة خضعت لعملية تحديث وتنسيق، لتبدو وكأنها بيانات حديثة، مما يزيد من خطورتها واحتمال استغلالها في عمليات اختراق جديدة.
وحذر المختصون من أن البيانات المسربة قد تُستخدم في هجمات "الملء الاعتمادي" (Credential Stuffing)، وهي أسلوب يستغل فيه القراصنة كلمات المرور المسروقة لاختراق حسابات أخرى يستخدم فيها الضحايا نفس بيانات الدخول.
وفي غياب أي تعليق رسمي من شركة Google حتى الآن، نصح الخبراء المستخدمين بالإسراع في تغيير كلمات المرور وتفعيل خاصية المصادقة الثنائية (2FA) كإجراء فوري للحماية من أي محاولة اختراق.
ويأتي هذا التسريب ليؤكد مجددًا أن التهديدات الإلكترونية تتزايد بوتيرة غير مسبوقة، في وقت أصبحت فيه البيانات الشخصية سلعة مربحة في الأسواق السوداء الرقمية.
ويشدد المختصون على أن الوعي الأمني وتطبيق إجراءات الحماية الأساسية مثل كلمات المرور القوية وعدم تكرارها عبر المنصات، يظلّان خط الدفاع الأول في مواجهة الهجمات السيبرانية المتطورة.

In the absence of any official comment from Google so far, experts advised users to quickly change their passwords and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) as an immediate protective measure against any hacking attempts.
This leak further confirms that cyber threats are increasing at an unprecedented rate, at a time when personal data has become a lucrative commodity in digital black markets.
Experts emphasize that security awareness and the implementation of basic protective measures, such as strong passwords and not reusing them across platforms, remain the first line of defense against advanced cyber attacks.
