أظهر استطلاع للرأي أجرته مجلة «أيه بولا» البرتغالية المتخصصة في كرة القدم، أن قطاعاً من جماهير المنتخب البرتغالي يرى عدم أحقية قائده كريستيانو رونالدو في العودة إلى التشكيل الأساسي، وذلك بعد جلوسه على مقاعد البدلاء خلال الفوز على النرويج 2-1 في دوري الأمم الأوروبية، (الأحد) الماضي، وفقاً لما أوردته وكالة الأنباء الألمانية.
وبحسب الاستطلاع الذي نشرته المجلة، (الأربعاء)، يفضل المشجعون استمرار غونسالو راموس وجواو فيليكس في قيادة خط هجوم المنتخب خلال مواجهة الدنمارك، (الخميس).
وكان رونالدو توجه مباشرة إلى النفق المؤدي إلى غرف تبديل الملابس عقب صافرة نهاية مباراة النرويج، كما غاب عن تدريبات المنتخب، (الثلاثاء)، استعداداً للمواجهة القادمة.
وذكرت تقارير إعلامية برتغالية أن رونالدو، البالغ من العمر 41 عاماً، فضل استخدام صالة ألعاب رياضية في الفندق، وصفت بأنها أفضل تجهيزاً، بدلاً من منشآت التدريب في مالمو، فيما أثارت تصرفاته خلال الأيام الأخيرة انتقادات بين عدد من الجماهير.
وأشارت التقارير إلى أن رونالدو كان قد اتفق في البداية مع المدرب جورجي جيسوس على عدم المشاركة أمام النرويج، قبل أن يطلب منه المدرب الدخول خلال آخر 30 دقيقة من المباراة، ثم يتراجع عن قراره.
وكان جيسوس قد أكد، في تصريحات سابقة، وجود اتفاق مع رونالدو بشأن مشاركته أمام النرويج، قبل أن يقرر عدم الدفع به خلال اللقاء.
وفسرت وسائل إعلام برتغالية تصرفات رونالدو في أعقاب المباراة في ضوء تغيير قرار الجهاز الفني بشأن مشاركته، بالتزامن مع تكهنات متزايدة حول موعد نهاية مسيرته الدولية.
وفاجأ رونالدو عدداً من المحللين باستمراره مع المنتخب البرتغالي، عقب خروج الفريق من دور الـ16 في كأس العالم التي أقيمت في يوليو الماضي.
وقال رونالدو، في مقابلة مع مجلة «Vogue» في أغسطس الماضي: «ربما يكون هذا عامي الأخير في كرة القدم»، في وقت يواصل فيه مساعيه للوصول إلى حاجز 1000 هدف خلال مسيرته.

According to the survey published by the magazine on Wednesday, fans prefer that Gonçalo Ramos and João Félix continue to lead the attack during the upcoming match against Denmark on Thursday.
Ronaldo went directly to the tunnel leading to the locker rooms after the final whistle of the Norway match, and he also missed the national team training on Tuesday in preparation for the next match.
Portuguese media reports indicated that Ronaldo, who is 41 years old, preferred to use a gym at the hotel, described as better equipped, instead of the training facilities in Malmö, while his actions in recent days have drawn criticism from some fans.
Reports indicated that Ronaldo had initially agreed with coach Jorge Jesus not to participate against Norway, before the coach asked him to come on during the last 30 minutes of the match, only to later retract that decision.
Jesus had previously confirmed in statements that there was an agreement with Ronaldo regarding his participation against Norway, before deciding not to play him during the match.
Portuguese media interpreted Ronaldo's actions following the match in light of the coaching staff's change of decision regarding his participation, coinciding with increasing speculation about the timing of the end of his international career.
Ronaldo surprised several analysts by continuing with the Portuguese national team after the team was eliminated in the Round of 16 at the World Cup held last July.
Ronaldo stated in an interview with "Vogue" magazine last August: "This could be my last year in football," as he continues his efforts to reach the milestone of 1000 goals during his career.
