تنطلق اليوم منافسات الأسبوع الثاني (الأخير) من بطولة «قفز السعودية» لقفز الحواجز في نسختها الخامسة، التي ينظمها الاتحاد السعودي للفروسية بمقر قفز السعودية في الرياض، بجوائز مالية تتجاوز 5 ملايين ريال، وبمشاركة (193) فارساً وفارسة من (19) دولة.
وشهد الأسبوع الأول مشاركة (173) فارساً وفارسة من (14) دولة، وإقامة (18) شوطاً لفئتي النجمة الواحدة والأربع نجوم على مدى 3 أيام، تألق فيها الفرسان السعوديون الذين تجاوز عددهم (90) فارساً وفارسة، وحققوا العديد من المراكز الأولى والمتقدمة إضافة لتتويج الفارس الإيطالي إيمانويل كاميلي بلقب شوط الجائزة الكبرى لفئة الأربع نجوم.
كما تشهد منافسات الأسبوع الثاني، إقامة (18) شوطاً لفئتي النجمتين والخمس نجوم على مدى 3 أيام، يتضمنها شوط مؤهل إلى نهائيات كأس العالم لقفز الحواجز والترويض 2026 بولاية تكساس الأمريكية، ويشارك فيها فرسان من الجزائر، مصر، فرنسا، ألمانيا، بريطانيا، العراق، الأردن، المغرب، هولندا، فلسطين، بولندا، إسبانيا، سورية، اليمن، بلجيكا، كندا، إيطاليا، قطر، بجانب السعودية المضيفة بعدد (215) جواداً.
وأنهى الاتحاد السعودي للفروسية واللجنة المنظمة جميع الاستعدادات والتجهيزات الخاصة للبطولة، من تجهيز للميدان الرئيسي، وميادين الإحماء، وإسطبلات ومرافق الجياد، والخدمات اللوجستية والنقل، والقرية الرياضية، والمدرجات، ومناطق المشجعين.
Today marks the beginning of the second (and final) week of the "Saudi Jumping" show jumping championship in its fifth edition, organized by the Saudi Equestrian Federation at the Saudi Jumping venue in Riyadh, with prize money exceeding 5 million riyals, and the participation of (193) male and female riders from (19) countries.
The first week saw the participation of (173) male and female riders from (14) countries, and the organization of (18) rounds for the one-star and four-star categories over the course of 3 days, during which the Saudi riders, numbering over (90), excelled and achieved numerous top and advanced positions, in addition to the crowning of Italian rider Emanuel Camilli with the title of the Grand Prix round for the four-star category.
The second week's competitions will feature (18) rounds for the two-star and five-star categories over 3 days, including a round qualifying for the finals of the World Cup for show jumping and dressage 2026 in the state of Texas, USA. Riders from Algeria, Egypt, France, Germany, Britain, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, the Netherlands, Palestine, Poland, Spain, Syria, Yemen, Belgium, Canada, Italy, Qatar, along with the host country Saudi Arabia, will participate with a total of (215) horses.
The Saudi Equestrian Federation and the organizing committee have completed all preparations and arrangements for the championship, including the setup of the main arena, warm-up arenas, stables and horse facilities, logistical and transportation services, the sports village, grandstands, and fan areas.
