خسر الشباب السعودي أمام نظيره تضامن حضرموت اليمني بهدفين دون مقابل، في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على ملعب سعود بن عبدالرحمن في الوكرة، ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية من بطولة دوري أبطال الخليج للأندية.
وافتتح فريق التضامن التسجيل مبكرا عن طريق اللاعب ممدوح بن عجاج في الدقيقة الثامنة من زمن الشوط الأول، بعد تسديدة مميزة. وأضاف اللاعب بول إيلونزي الهدف الثاني للتضامن عند الدقيقة 22، معززا تقدم فريقه قبل نهاية الشوط الأول.
وشهدت الدقيقة 29 من زمن المباراة إهدار ركلة جزاء لصالح الشباب، بعد أن سدد اللاعب البلجيكي كاراسكو الكرة فوق العارضة، فيما أشهر حكم اللقاء البطاقة الحمراء في وجه لاعب التضامن رضوان الحبيشي في الدقيقة 78، بعد تلقيه البطاقة الصفراء الثانية نتيجة تدخلٍ قوي على أحد لاعبي الشباب.
ويُعد هذا الفوز الأول للتضامن في البطولة، بينما توقف رصيد الشباب عند نقطة وحيدة إثر تعادله في الجولة الماضية أمام النهضة العماني.
The Saudi youth team lost to their Yemeni counterpart, Al-Tadamon Hadramout, by two goals to none in the match held at Saud bin Abdulrahman Stadium in Al-Wakrah, as part of the second round of the Gulf Clubs Champions League.
Al-Tadamon opened the scoring early through player Mamdouh bin Ajaj in the eighth minute of the first half, following a remarkable shot. Player Paul Ilonzi added the second goal for Al-Tadamon in the 22nd minute, strengthening his team's lead before the end of the first half.
In the 29th minute of the match, a penalty kick was missed in favor of the youth team, after Belgian player Carrasco shot the ball over the crossbar. Meanwhile, the referee showed a red card to Al-Tadamon player Ridwan Al-Habishi in the 78th minute, after receiving a second yellow card for a strong tackle on one of the youth players.
This victory is the first for Al-Tadamon in the tournament, while the youth team's points remain at just one after drawing in the previous round against Al-Nahda of Oman.
