أكد المدير الفني لمنتخب إندونيسيا الهولندي باتريك كلويفرت، خلال المؤتمر الصحافي الذي عُقد اليوم في جدة، أن فريقه يستعد بخطة فنية جديدة لمواجهة منتخب العراق غدًا ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية من الدور الرابع للملحق الآسيوي المؤهل لكأس العالم 2026.
وأوضح كلويفرت أن المنتخب الإندونيسي يسعى لتحقيق نتيجة إيجابية تعوّض الخسارة السابقة أمام المنتخب السعودي، مبينًا أن الجهاز الفني أعد إستراتيجية يرى أنها الأنسب لهذه المواجهة، وأن الوقت غير مناسب للكشف عن تفاصيلها قبل المباراة، حفاظًا على تركيز الفريق وتحقيق أفضل جاهزية ممكنة.
من جانبه، أكد لاعب المنتخب الإندونيسي كيفين أن الفريق تجاوز آثار الخسارة الماضية، مبينًا أن التركيز ينصب على المباراة القادمة، وأن اللاعبين يتعاملون باحترافية عالية ويركزون على ما يمكن تغييره في المستقبل، معتبرًا المواجهة المرتقبة بمثابة «نهائي كبير» للفريق.
في المقابل، عبّر المدير الفني لمنتخب العراق غراهام أرنولد، عن سعادته ببلوغ هذه المرحلة من التصفيات، مؤكدًا جاهزية اللاعبين الكاملة للمواجهة، ومشددًا على أهمية التركيز داخل أرض الملعب دون الالتفات للعوامل الخارجية، موضحًا أن جميع اللاعبين يشاركون بانتظام مع أنديتهم ويتمتعون بحالة بدنية ممتازة.
