وقع نادي الاتحاد رسمياً مع المدرب البرتغالي سيرجيو كونسيساو، حتى يونيو 2027 ويضم طاقم التدريب جواو كوستا (كمساعد مدرب أول)، وسيرامانا ديمبيلي (مساعد مدرب)، وفابيو مورا (مساعد فني)، وديامانتينو فيغيريدو (مدرب حراس أول)، فيدران رونجي (مدرب حراس)، وإدواردو أوليفيرا (محلل الأداء).
من جانبه طالب المدير الرياضي بنادي الاتحاد رامون بلانيس الجماهير الاتحادية بدعم الجهاز الفني الجديد ومنحه الثقة للطاقم كونه سيجلب الكثير من السعادة للمدرج الاتحادي.
وأضاف بلانيس: جئنا من موسم مميز ورائع للغاية، حققنا فيه الدوري والكأس وصنعنا التاريخ، ولكن كنا نعلم أنه هذا الموسم أيضًا ستكون الآمال والمتطلبات عالية جدًا، ونؤكد الجاهزية الذهنية لهذا الموسم، كوننا نعلم أننا سنواجه بعض الصعوبات لكننا ما نزال في البداية.
وختم بلانيس حديثه الموجه للجماهير الاتحادية بقوله: في سوق الانتقالات الأخير كانت فكرتنا أن التعاقد لا يعتمد فقط على المدى القصير، بل أيضًا على المدى البعيد من خلال التوقيع مع أسماء شابة محلية وأجنبية.
من جهة أخرى عاد الظهير الأيمن فواز الصقور للمشاركة في التدريبات الجماعية بعد انقطاع طويل وسيكون قرار مشاركته مع الفريق عند المدرب الجديد للفريق الاتحاد سيرجيو كونسيساو.

The Al-Ittihad Club has officially signed with Portuguese coach Sergio Conceição until June 2027, and the coaching staff includes João Costa (as the first assistant coach), Siramana Dembélé (assistant coach), Fábio Moura (technical assistant), Diamantino Ferreira (first goalkeeping coach), Vedran Runjić (goalkeeping coach), and Eduardo Oliveira (performance analyst).
For his part, the sports director of Al-Ittihad, Ramon Planes, urged the Al-Ittihad fans to support the new coaching staff and grant them confidence, as they will bring a lot of happiness to the Al-Ittihad stands.
Planes added: We came from a very special and wonderful season, in which we achieved the league and the cup and made history, but we knew that this season would also have very high hopes and demands. We confirm our mental readiness for this season, as we know we will face some difficulties, but we are still at the beginning.
Planes concluded his remarks directed at the Al-Ittihad fans by saying: In the last transfer market, our idea was that signings should not only depend on the short term but also on the long term by signing with young local and foreign names.
On another note, right-back Fawaz Al-Suqoor has returned to participate in team training after a long absence, and the decision regarding his participation with the team will be up to the new Al-Ittihad coach, Sergio Conceição.
