أعلن الاتحاد الدولي للرياضات المائية وضع حجر الأساس لمقره الجديد في العاصمة المجرية بودابست.
وقال رئيس الاتحاد الدولي للرياضات المائية حسين المسلم خلال فعاليات افتتاح المقر اليوم، بحضور عدد من كبار مسؤولي المجر: «هذا اليوم محطة تاريخية، تشهد الإعلان عن الخطوة الأولى للمقر الجديد، بما يحتويه من مبانٍ حديثة، ومركز تدريب عالمي لمنتسبي الرياضات المائية من جميع أنحاء العالم».
وأضاف: «المقر الجديد يضم 125 موظفاً، إضافة إلى إقامة دائمة لنحو (200) رياضي، ويوفر أفضل فرص التأهيل والتدريب».
ويهدف مشروع المقر الجديد إلى تعميق الشراكة مع المجر، من خلال إتاحة الوصول إلى أحدث الخدمات الطبية وعلوم الرياضة، إضافة إلى توسيع علاقات التعاون مع الجامعات المجرية الرائدة، بما يعزز الابتكار والبحث العلمي والتميز الرياضي.

The International Aquatics Federation announced the laying of the foundation stone for its new headquarters in the Hungarian capital, Budapest.
During the opening ceremony of the headquarters today, attended by several senior officials from Hungary, the President of the International Aquatics Federation, Hussein Muslim, said: “Today is a historic milestone, marking the announcement of the first step for the new headquarters, which will include modern buildings and a world-class training center for aquatics athletes from around the globe.”
He added: “The new headquarters will house 125 employees, in addition to permanent accommodation for about 200 athletes, providing the best training and rehabilitation opportunities.”
The aim of the new headquarters project is to deepen the partnership with Hungary by providing access to the latest medical services and sports sciences, as well as expanding cooperative relationships with leading Hungarian universities, thereby enhancing innovation, scientific research, and sporting excellence.
