وجد منتخب إندونيسيا نفسه في موقف صعب قبل المواجهتين الحاسمتين أمام المنتخبين السعودي والعراقي في الملحق الآسيوي المؤهل لكأس العالم 2026، وذلك عقب أن تأكد غياب حارس مرمى فريق كريمونيزي الإيطالي ومنتخب إندونيسيا إيميل أوديرو بداعي الإصابة التي تعرض لها قبل انطلاق مباراة فريقه كريمونيزي ضد كومو ضمن الجولة الخامسة من الدوري الإيطالي، كما سيفتقد المنتخب الإندونيسي خدمات صانع ألعابه الشاب مارسيلينو فردينان الذي يعاني من إصابة في أوتار الركبة.
ويستعد منتخب إندونيسيا لانطلاق مشواره في الملحق المؤهل للمونديال بمواجهة المنتخب السعودي مساء الأربعاء القادم على ملعب الإنماء في جدة قبل أن يواجه منتخب العراق السبت القادم. وتختتم مباريات الملحق الآسيوي بمواجهة منتخبي السعودية والعراق الثلاثاء 14 أكتوبر الجاري.
وسيكون غياب حارس المرمى إيميل أوديرو (28 سنة) مؤثراً للغاية بالنسبة للمنتخب الإندونيسي، إذ يملك حارس المرمى الجنسيتين الإيطالية والإندونيسية، وسبق له تمثيل الفئات العمرية لمنتخب إيطاليا قبل أن يختار تمثيل المنتخب الإندونيسي الأول في يونيو الماضي، وشهدت مسيرته الاحترافية تنقلات عدة بين أندية الدوري الإيطالي، حيث بدأ مسيرته في أكاديمية يوفنتوس، وجرى تصعيده للفريق الأول عام 2015، ثم لعب مع فينيسيا وسامبدوريا قبل الانتقال إلى إنتر ميلان في 2023. وفي الموسم التالي، انتقل إلى كومو، ثم أُعير إلى باليرمو قبل انتقاله الأخير إلى كريمونيزي.
