الاتحاد ينهي علاقته بالمدرب بلان.. وحسن خليفة بديلاً

The Al-Ittihad Club officially announced the termination of the contractual relationship with the head coach of the first football team, Laurent Blanc, and his coaching staff. The club's board expressed its sincere gratitude and appreciation for their efforts during the past period, wishing them success in their future endeavors.

The club management also decided to appoint Captain Hassan Khalifa as the head coach to lead the first team, with his assistant Ivan Karasco, the head coach of the under-21 team, until a new coaching staff is contracted that aligns with the club's ambitions and meets the team's goals and the aspirations of its loyal fans.

It is worth mentioning that Al-Ittihad contracted Laurent Blanc as a replacement for the Argentine Marcelo Gallardo, and Blanc achieved the double with Al-Ittihad, winning the Roshan Saudi Professional League Cup and the King’s Cup. However, he started this season weakly with the team, having lost the Saudi Super Cup to Al-Nassr, then losing to Al-Wahda of the UAE at the beginning of his journey in the AFC Champions League, and subsequently losing to Al-Nassr again in the Professional League last Thursday.
