اكتفى الفتح ومضيفه الحزم بنقطة واحدة لكل منهما، في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على ملعب نادي الحزم، وانتهى بالتعادل السلبي دون أهداف، ضمن لقاءات الجولة الثالثة «جولة عزنا بطبعنا» من دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
شهد اللقاء أداء متوسط المستوى على صعيد الأداء الفني من الفريقين، وإن كان الفتح هو الأكثر خطورة وتهديدا للمرمى على مدار الشوطين، في حين اعتمد الحزم على المرتدات والهجمات السريعة، لكنه لم ينجح في استغلالها، وفي الدقيقة 24 كاد الفتح يفتتح التسجيل بعدما تلقى فهد الزبيدي عرضية متقنة من الجهة اليمنى، لكنه أخفق في إيداع الكرة داخل الشباك، وجاء رد الحزم في الدقيقة 34 برأسية من لاعبه روسير علت مرمى الفتح بقليل، لينتهي الشوط الأول دون أهداف.
وشهد الشوط الثاني تبادل المحاولات بين الفريقين، وحاول الفتح عبر تحركات سفيان بن دبكة والزبيدي والبديل إيكامبي، بينما اعتمد الحزم على الكرات العرضية والاختراق من الأطراف عبر فابيو مارتينز وموكوانا والمهاجم عمر السومة، لكن غياب الدقة أمام المرمى حال دون اهتزاز الشباك حتى صافرة النهاية.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق الفتح تعادله الأول بعد خسارتين في أول جولتين، ويحتل المركز الـ16، وسيستضيف في الجولة القادمة جاره فريق القادسية، فيما حقق الحزم تعادله الثاني ويصل للنقطة الثانية ويحتل المركز الـ14، وسيلاقي ضيفه الأهلي في الجولة القادمة.

The opening match between Al-Fateh and its host Al-Hazm ended with both teams settling for one point each, as the game, held at Al-Hazm Club's stadium, concluded in a goalless draw. This was part of the third round of the "Our Pride is Our Nature" round in the Saudi Pro League.
The match witnessed a mediocre performance in terms of technical play from both teams, although Al-Fateh was the more dangerous and threatening side throughout both halves. On the other hand, Al-Hazm relied on counterattacks and quick strikes but failed to capitalize on them. In the 24th minute, Al-Fateh nearly opened the scoring when Fahd Al-Zubaidi received a precise cross from the right side, but he failed to put the ball in the net. Al-Hazm responded in the 34th minute with a header from their player Rosser that just went over Al-Fateh's goal, ending the first half without goals.
The second half saw both teams exchanging attempts, with Al-Fateh trying through the movements of Sofiane Bendebka, Al-Zubaidi, and substitute Ikambi, while Al-Hazm relied on crosses and penetrations from the flanks through Fabio Martins, Mukwana, and striker Omar Al-Soma. However, a lack of precision in front of the goal prevented any scoring until the final whistle.
With this result, Al-Fateh achieves its first draw after two losses in the first two rounds, placing them in 16th position. They will host their neighbor Al-Qadisiyah in the next round, while Al-Hazm records its second draw, reaching two points and occupying 14th place.
