تعثر الهلال بالتعادل مع ضيفه القادسية بهدفين لكل منهما، في اللقاء الذي جمعهما على استاد «المملكة أرينا» ضمن لقاءات الجولة الثانية من دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
شهد اللقاء قوة وإثارة من الفريقين، وافتتح القادسية التسجيل عن طريق كريستوفر بونسو باه الذي استغل الكرة المرتدة من دفاع الهلال ليسددها مباشرةً في المرمى على يمين الحارس الهلالي ياسين بونو هدفاً أول للقادسية (د:6)، وتمكن الهلال من العودة للقاء بعد هجمة مرتدة مثالية قادها البرازيلي مالكوم الذي لعب كرة عرضية أرضية للمهاجم داروين نونيز، ليسددها مباشرة في المرمى على يسار الحارس كاستليس هدف تعادل للهلال (د:49)، ولم تكتمل الفرحة الهلالية، إذ تقدم القادسية مجدداً بعد تمريرة أرضية من ناهيتان نانديز سددها جوليان كينيونيس أرضية على يمين الحارس بونو هدفاً ثانياً للقادسية (د:50)، واستطاع الهلال إدراك التعادل بعد أن عاد الحكم الإسباني خوان مونويرا لتقنية الفيديو واحتسب ركلة جزاء للهلال تقدم لها روبين نيفيز وسددها بنجاح في المرمى هدف تعادل ثانياً للهلال (د:73)، لينتهي اللقاء بالتعادل بهدفين لكل منهما.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق الهلال أول تعادل له في الدوري ويصل للنقطة الرابعة، وسيلاقي في الجولة القادمة مضيفه الأهلي، كما حقق القادسية تعادله الأول ووصل كذلك للنقطة الرابعة، وسيواجه جاره وضيفه الخليج في الجولة القادمة.
