تحدّث مدرب فريق الشباب، الاسباني إيمانويل الغواسيل، ومهاجم الفريق عبدالرزاق حمدالله، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي يسبق مواجهة الشباب أمام الريان القطري، ضمن منافسات البطولة الخليجية، مؤكدَين جاهزية الفريق وعزمه على تحقيق الفوز وتصدر المجموعة.
وأكد الغواسيل أن اللاعبين قدموا مستويات جيدة مع منتخباتهم، في حين واصل بقية عناصر الفريق العمل بجدية خلال التدريبات. وقال:
«اكتمل العدد الآن، واللاعبون جاهزون لمباراة الغد، وثقتي كبيرة بهم لتقديم أداء مميز وتحقيق الفوز بإذن الله».
وأضاف مدرب الشباب أن الفريق يدخل اللقاء بعزيمة واضحة لتحقيق النقاط الثلاث وتصدر المجموعة، مشدداً على أن هدفه الأبرز هو المنافسة بقوة على اللقب والتتويج بالبطولة الخليجية.
من جانبه، أكد عبدالرزاق حمدالله جاهزيته للمواجهة، رغم التحاقه بالتدريبات الجماعية أخيراً بعد مشاركته الدولية، مشيراً إلى تفاؤله الكبير وزملائه بتحقيق الفوز. وقال:
«نحن جاهزون، ومتفائلون بتقديم مباراة قوية والخروج بالانتصار».
وتطرق حمدالله إلى طموحاته مع الشباب، موضحاً أنه حقق العديد من الألقاب خلال مسيرته مع الأندية التي لعب لها، وهو ما يشكل دافعاً إضافياً له للمنافسة على لقب البطولة الخليجية. وأضاف:
«طموحي عالٍ جداً، وثقتي كبيرة في المدرب والإدارة واللاعبين لتحقيق هذا الهدف».
وعن الغيابات، كشف الغواسيل أن اللاعب همام الهمامي سيغيب عن المباراة بسبب خضوعه لعملية جراحية، في حين شارك سييرو في حصتين تدريبيتين فقط، بينما يعاني مبارك الراجح من آلام في الظهر، وسيتم التأكد من جاهزيته قبل اللقاء. كما عبّر عن سعادته بتحقق حمدالله البطولة العربية، متمنياً أن تشكل دافعاً له لمواصلة تحقيق الانتصارات مع الفريق.
ورداً على ما يُثار في مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي بشأن عدم انسجام حمدالله مع أسلوبه التكتيكي، شدد الغواسيل على أن هذه الأحاديث غير صحيحة، مؤكداً قوة العلاقة التي تجمعه باللاعب. وقال:
«ليس كل ما يُقال في مواقع التواصل صحيح، علاقتي مع حمدالله ممتازة، وأرقامه تشهد له، وأعتمد عليه كثيراً، فهو قائد داخل الملعب وخارجه، ولا يختلف عليه اثنان».
بدوره، علّق حمدالله على هذه الأحاديث قائلاً:
«عملت تحت قيادة 16 مدرباً، وكل ما يُقال في وسائل التواصل مجرد آراء لأشخاص لا يفهمون كرة القدم. أحترم المدرب وقراراته، وبدأت صفحة جديدة، ومن الغد سيشاهد الجميع فريقاً مختلفاً وبداية جديدة».
واختتم حمدالله حديثه بالتأكيد على أن أي فريق يمر بفترات تراجع، معرباً عن تفهمه لما مر به النادي أخيراً، ومقدماً شكره للإدارة السابقة على جهودها، رغم عدم التوفيق، مشيداً في الوقت ذاته بحماس ورغبة الإدارة الجديدة، مضيفاً: «كنت أتمنى أن تُلعب المباراة اليوم قبل الغد من شدة حماسي».

Alguacil confirmed that the players have performed well with their national teams, while the rest of the team members continued to work diligently during training. He said:
“The number is now complete, and the players are ready for tomorrow's match. I have great confidence in them to deliver an outstanding performance and achieve victory, God willing.”
The youth coach added that the team enters the match with a clear determination to secure the three points and top the group, emphasizing that his main goal is to compete strongly for the title and win the Gulf Championship.
For his part, Abdulrazak Hamdallah confirmed his readiness for the match, despite joining team training only recently after his international participation, pointing to the great optimism he and his teammates have about achieving victory. He said:
“We are ready and optimistic about delivering a strong match and coming out with a win.”
Hamdallah also touched on his ambitions with the youth team, explaining that he has won many titles during his career with the clubs he has played for, which serves as an additional motivation for him to compete for the Gulf Championship title. He added:
“My ambition is very high, and I have great confidence in the coach, the management, and the players to achieve this goal.”
Regarding absences, Alguacil revealed that player Hammam Al-Hamami will miss the match due to undergoing surgery, while Sirow participated in only two training sessions. Meanwhile, Mubarak Al-Rajeh is suffering from back pain, and his readiness will be confirmed before the match. He also expressed his happiness for Hamdallah's achievement in the Arab Championship, hoping it would motivate him to continue achieving victories with the team.
In response to what is being said on social media about Hamdallah's lack of harmony with his tactical style, Alguacil emphasized that these talks are not true, confirming the strong relationship he has with the player. He said:
“Not everything said on social media is true; my relationship with Hamdallah is excellent, and his numbers speak for him. I rely on him a lot; he is a leader both on and off the field, and there is no disagreement about that.”
For his part, Hamdallah commented on these discussions, saying:
“I have worked under 16 coaches, and everything said on social media is just opinions from people who do not understand football. I respect the coach and his decisions, and I have turned a new page. Starting tomorrow, everyone will see a different team and a new beginning.”
Hamdallah concluded his remarks by affirming that any team goes through periods of decline, expressing his understanding of what the club has gone through recently, and thanking the previous management for their efforts, despite the lack of success, while praising the enthusiasm and desire of the new management, adding: “I wished the match could be played today instead of tomorrow due to my excitement.”
