تلقى فريق الشباب هزيمة ثقيلة من ضيفه الخليج بنتيجة 4/ 1 في اللقاء الذي جمع بينهما على ملعب نادي الشباب بالرياض، ضمن لقاءات الجولة الأولى لدوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
بدأ الخليج اللقاء سريعاً بإحرازه هدفاً مبكراً عن طريق جوشوا كينغ والذي تلقى تمريرة طويلة من زميله كونستانتينوس ليحولها جوشوا برأسه داخل الشباك كهدف أول للخليج (د: 7)، وكاد قائد الشباب يانيك كاراسكو أن يعادل النتيجة بعد أن تلقى تمريرة ذكية من هارون كمارا ليواجه كاراسكو المرمى ويسددها ولكن الحارس أنتوني موريس أبعدها لركلة زاوية، وتمكن كونستانتينوس من مضاعفة النتيجة لفريق الخليج بعد تسديدته لركلة الجزاء بنجاح محققاً الهدف الثاني (د: 53)، وقلص الشباب النتيجة عن طريق قائده كاراسكو من نقطة الجزاء مسجلاً الهدف الأول لفريقه (د: 59)، ولكن البديل صالح العمري أحرز الهدف الثالث للخليج بعد أن تلقى تمريرة طويلة من الحارس موريس لينفرد العمري بالمرمى ويسددها لتسكن الشباك (د: 64)، وفي الدقائق الأخيرة من عمر اللقاء عاد جوشوا لهز الشباك وأحرز الهدف الشخصي الثاني والرابع لفريقه الخليج (د: 82)، لينتهي اللقاء بفوز الخليج على الشباب بأربعة أهداف لهدف.
وبهذه النتيجة يحقق الخليج الفوز الأول ويحصد 3 نقاط وسيلاقي في الجولة القادمة ضيفه الفيحاء، فيما تلقى الشباب الخسارة الأولى وتجمد رصيده بدون نقاط وسيواجه في الجولة المقبلة ضيفه الحزم.

The youth team suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of their guest Al-Khaleej, with a score of 4-1 in the match held at the Al-Shabab Club stadium in Riyadh, as part of the first round of the Roshen Saudi Professional League.

Konstantinos managed to double the score for Al-Khaleej by successfully converting a penalty kick, achieving the second goal (53rd minute). Al-Shabab reduced the score through their captain Carrasco from the penalty spot, scoring the first goal for his team (59th minute). However, substitute Saleh Al-Omari scored the third goal for Al-Khaleej after receiving a long pass from goalkeeper Morris, allowing Al-Omari to break away and shoot it into the net (64th minute). In the final minutes of the match, Joshua returned to shake the net and scored his second personal goal and the fourth for his team, Al-Khaleej (82nd minute), ending the match with Al-Khaleej winning against Al-Shabab by four goals to one.
With this result, Al-Khaleej achieves their first victory and collects 3 points, and they will face their guest Al-Fayha in the next round, while Al-Shabab suffers their first loss, remaining without points, and will face their guest Al-Hazm in the upcoming round.
