أطلقت اللجنة الوطنية للطب الرياضي في اتحاد الغرف السعودية الإستراتيجية الوطنية للطب الرياضي، تتضمن (11) مبادرة رئيسة تهدف إلى تطوير المنظومة الصحية للرياضيين، وتعزيز مساهمة القطاع في الاقتصاد الصحي المرتبط بالرياضة، بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في جودة الحياة.
وتشمل المبادرات تأسيس الهيئة السعودية للطب الرياضي، وإنشاء صندوق للبنية التحتية، وإعداد إطار حوكمة لاعتماد المراكز والمستشفيات والأطباء، وإصدار دليل تنظيمي وطني للطب الرياضي، وتتضمن الإستراتيجية إطلاق منتج تأميني وطني للرياضيين، واستحداث برامج أكاديمية متخصصة تشمل الدبلومات والزمالات، وإنشاء مركز وطني للأبحاث والابتكار في الطب الرياضي.
وعلى المستوى المجتمعي ركزت المبادرات على إطلاق حملات وطنية للطب الوقائي والإصابات الرياضية، ودعم الكفاءات البشرية بالتدريب والتطوير، إضافة إلى مبادرة إعلامية وأخلاقيات مهنية مرتبطة بالمجال، وتعزيزاً لمكانة المملكة إقليمياً ودولياً، شملت الإستراتيجية إبرام اتفاقيات وشراكات مع جهات محلية وعالمية.
وأكدت اللجنة الوطنية أن هذه الخطوة تمثل نقلة نوعية في حماية الرياضيين وتطوير بيئة الرياضة في المملكة، فضلاً عن دورها في خلق فرص اقتصادية واعدة عبر قطاع صحي متخصص ومبتكر.
وأوضحت اللجنة الوطنية أن هذه المبادرات ستُنفذ بالتنسيق مع الجهات الحكومية والخاصة بما يتوافق مع آليات عمل ومسؤوليات كل جهة، لضمان تحقيق أثر ملموس ومستدام على المنظومة الصحية للرياضة في المملكة، وستسهم هذه الجهود في رفع مستوى جودة الحياة للرياضيين والمجتمع، وتعزيز الاقتصاد الصحي الوطني من خلال تطوير قطاع صحي متخصص ومبتكر، يواكب مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 ويعزز مكانة المملكة إقليمياً ودولياً في مجال الطب الرياضي.

The National Committee for Sports Medicine in the Saudi Chambers Federation has launched the National Strategy for Sports Medicine, which includes (11) main initiatives aimed at developing the health system for athletes and enhancing the sector's contribution to the health economy related to sports, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 for quality of life.
The initiatives include the establishment of the Saudi Sports Medicine Authority, the creation of an infrastructure fund, the preparation of a governance framework for accrediting centers, hospitals, and doctors, and the issuance of a national regulatory guide for sports medicine. The strategy also includes the launch of a national insurance product for athletes, the introduction of specialized academic programs including diplomas and fellowships, and the establishment of a national center for research and innovation in sports medicine.
At the community level, the initiatives focused on launching national campaigns for preventive medicine and sports injuries, supporting human competencies through training and development, in addition to a media initiative and professional ethics related to the field. To enhance the Kingdom's position regionally and internationally, the strategy included signing agreements and partnerships with local and global entities.
The National Committee emphasized that this step represents a qualitative leap in protecting athletes and developing the sports environment in the Kingdom, as well as its role in creating promising economic opportunities through a specialized and innovative health sector.
The National Committee clarified that these initiatives will be implemented in coordination with government and private entities in accordance with the work mechanisms and responsibilities of each party, to ensure a tangible and sustainable impact on the health system for sports in the Kingdom. These efforts will contribute to improving the quality of life for athletes and the community, and enhancing the national health economy by developing a specialized and innovative health sector that aligns with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and strengthens the Kingdom's position regionally and internationally in the field of sports medicine.
