مع تبقي أسبوعين على نهاية فترة الانتقالات الصيفية في الدوري الإنجليزي، تسير أندية البطولة بخطى ثابتة نحو تحقيق رقم قياسي جديد في الإنفاق على اللاعبين الجدد.
ووفقًا لمعلومات موقع «فوتبول ترانسفيرز»، فإن أندية الدوري الإنجليزي أنفقت 2.26 مليار جنيه إسترليني للتعاقد مع اللاعبين منذ بدء فترة الانتقالات الصيفية في مطلع يونيو الماضي.
وجاء ذلك بزيادة قدرها 12.7 % عن 1.97 مليار أُنْفِقَت في صيف عام 2024، إذ كان الرقم القياسي السابق مسجلًا باسم صيف عام 2023، إذ أنفق 2.36 مليار جنيه إسترليني.
ومن المتوقع أن يُعْقَد المزيد من الصفقات في الفترة القادمة، ويبقى مستقبل بعض اللاعبين مبهمًا حتى الأول من سبتمبر القادم، ويبدو أن هناك رقمًا قياسيًا جديدًا في الأفق.
وأنفقت أندية الدوري الإنجليزي أموالًا أكبر من باقي الدوريات الأوروبية الكبرى مجتمعة.
وجاءت أغلى ثلاث صفقات هذا الصيف لتُنْفَق على لاعبين من الدوري الألماني، حيث تعاقد ليفربول مع فلوريان فريتز من ليفركوزن مقابل 100 مليون جنيه إسترليني مع إضافات تصل بالصفقة إلى 116 مليون جنيه إسترليني، فيما انضم هوجو إيكتيكي من آينتراخت فرانكفورت إلى ليفربول مقابل 69 مليون جنيه إسترليني مع إضافات تصل بالصفقة إلى 79 مليونًا، فيما تعاقد مانشستر يونايتد مع المهاجم السلوفيني بينيامين سيسكو من لايبزج الألماني مقابل 66.3 مليون تصل إلى 73.7 بالإضافات.
على الجانب الآخر، كانت أندية الدوري الإيطالي الأكثر إنفاقًا بعيدًا عن الدوري الإنجليزي، إذ أنفقت 783 مليون جنيه إسترليني، لكن ذلك ما زال أقل من صافي إنفاق أندية الدوري الإنجليزي.

With two weeks remaining until the end of the summer transfer window in the English Premier League, the clubs in the league are steadily moving towards achieving a new record in spending on new players.
According to information from the "Football Transfers" website, Premier League clubs have spent £2.26 billion on player signings since the summer transfer window opened at the beginning of June.
This represents an increase of 12.7% over the £1.97 billion spent in the summer of 2024, with the previous record held by the summer of 2023, when £2.36 billion was spent.

The three most expensive signings this summer were for players from the German league, with Liverpool signing Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for £100 million, with add-ons bringing the deal to £116 million, while Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt joined Liverpool for £69 million, with add-ons reaching £79 million. Manchester United signed Slovenian striker Benjamin Šeško from RB Leipzig for £66.3 million, which could rise to £73.7 million with add-ons.
