يبدأ فريق الأهلي (بطل دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة)، رحلة الدفاع عن لقبه بمواجهة شباب الأهلي الإماراتي في جدة، ثم يستضيف ناساف كارشي الأوزبكي على الملعب نفسه، وبعدها يلاقي السد القطري والشرطة العراقي، قبل أن يستقبل الشارقة الإماراتي، والغرافة القطري، ومن ثم يواجه الدحيل القطري والوحدة الإماراتي، خارج أرضه، أسفر ذلك بعد سحب قرعة الدور الأول من دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة. وللموسم الثاني على التوالي، تُقام البطولة بالنظام الجديد، الذي يعتمد على تقسيم الفرق إلى مجموعتين (شرق وغرب)، بحيث تضم الواحدة 12 فريقا، يتأهل منها أول 8 إلى الدور ثمن النهائي، بعد خوض مواجهات بنظام دوري من دور واحد، بحيث يلعب كل فريق 4 مباريات على ملعبه، ونفس العدد خارجه.
فيما سيخوض فريق الاتحاد (بطل دوي روشن للمحترفين) أول مواجهاته أمام شباب الأهلي، وناساف الأوزبكي على أرضه وبين جمهوره في جدة، ثم يطير لملاقاة السد القطري والشرطة العراقي، قبل أن يواجه الشارقة الإماراتي، والغرافة القطري، في معقل النمور، ويختتم مشواره في هذا الدور بمواجهة الدحيل القطري والوحدة الإماراتي خارج ملعبه.
أما فريق الهلال فسيبدأ مشواره الآسيوي باستضافة فريق السد القطري، والشرطة العراقي على ملعب المملكة آرينا في العاصمة السعودية الرياض، وبعدها يطير لمواجهة شباب الأهلي الإماراتي، ثم يلعب مع ناساف كارشي الأوزبكي، تم يعود لاستضافة الدحيل القطري، والوحدة الإماراتي، قبل أن ينهي مشواره خارج ملعبه، أمام الشارقة الإماراتي والغرافة القطري.

The Al-Ahli team (champion of the Elite AFC Champions League) begins its title defense journey by facing Al-Ahli Youth from the UAE in Jeddah, then hosting Uzbekistan's Nasaf Karshi at the same stadium, followed by matches against Qatar's Al-Sadd and Iraq's Al-Shorta, before welcoming UAE's Al-Sharjah and Qatar's Al-Gharafa, and then facing Qatar's Al-Duhail and UAE's Al-Wahda away from home. This comes after the draw for the first round of the Elite AFC Champions League. For the second consecutive season, the tournament will be held under the new system, which divides the teams into two groups (East and West), with each group consisting of 12 teams, from which the top 8 will qualify for the Round of 16, after playing matches in a single round-robin format, where each team plays 4 matches at home and the same number away.
The Ittihad team (champion of the Roshan Professional League) will play its first matches against Al-Ahli Youth and Uzbekistan's Nasaf at home in Jeddah, then fly to face Qatar's Al-Sadd and Iraq's Al-Shorta, before meeting UAE's Al-Sharjah and Qatar's Al-Gharafa at the Tigers' den, and concluding its journey in this round with matches against Qatar's Al-Duhail and UAE's Al-Wahda away from home.
As for the Al-Hilal team, it will start its Asian journey by hosting Qatar's Al-Sadd and Iraq's Al-Shorta at the Kingdom Arena in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, then fly to face UAE's Al-Ahli Youth, followed by a match against Uzbekistan's Nasaf Karshi, before returning to host Qatar's Al-Duhail and UAE's Al-Wahda, and finally finishing its journey away from home against UAE's Al-Sharjah and Qatar's Al-Gharafa.
