اختتم فريق السعودية مشاركته في دورة الألعاب العالمية 2025 بمدينة تشنغدو الصينية، إذ خاض لاعب فريق السعودية للترايثلون عبدالرحمن الغامدي منافسات الدواثلون، محققاً المركز الـ32 في الترتيب العام، بزمن قدره (1:28:13) ساعة، وبفارق (13:59) دقيقة عن صاحب المركز الأول، وذلك بعد مشاركته في الدورة ببطاقة دعوة من الاتحاد الدولي.
وشهدت مشاركة الغامدي منافسة قوية أمام نخبة من أفضل الرياضيين العالميين، وبدأ السباق بمسافة الجري الأولى، تلتها مرحلة ركوب الدراجات، قبل أن يختتم بالجري مجدداً.
ومن المقرر أن تغادر بعثة المملكة مدينة تشنغدو غداً، بعد ختام مشاركتها في الدورة، علماً أن الألعاب العالمية ستستمر حتى الـ17 من أغسطس.

The Saudi team concluded its participation in the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China, where Saudi triathlete Abdulrahman Al-Ghamdi competed in the duathlon, achieving 32nd place in the overall ranking, with a time of (1:28:13) hours, and a difference of (13:59) minutes from the first place holder, after participating in the event with a wildcard from the International Federation.
Al-Ghamdi's participation witnessed strong competition against a selection of the world's best athletes, starting the race with the first running segment, followed by the cycling phase, before concluding with running again.
The Saudi delegation is scheduled to leave Chengdu tomorrow, after completing its participation in the event, noting that the World Games will continue until August 17.
