أعلن نادي الاتحاد التوقيع الرسمي مع الظهير الأيمن أحمد الجليدان قادماً من نادي الفتح. وحسم مسؤولو الاتحاد صفقة أحمد الجليدان بناء على رغبة مدرب الفريق الفرنسي لوران بلان، لتدعيم مركز الظهير الأيمن خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية.
وسينضم الجليدان لمعسكر الاتحاد يوم الجمعة القادم في هونغ كونغ، من أجل الاستعداد لمباريات الفريق في بطولة كأس السوبر السعودي.

ولم يكشف الاتحاد عن مدة التعاقد، لكن تشير المصادر إلى أن الجليدان وقع عقداً لمدة خمس سنوات مع بطل الدوري.
وتألق الجليدان الذي تخرج من أكاديمية الفتح مع الفريق الأول في الموسم الماضي، ولعب 31 مباراة في الدوري الموسم الفائت.

The Ittihad Club announced the official signing of right-back Ahmed Al-Jlaydan, coming from Al-Fateh Club. The Ittihad officials finalized the deal for Ahmed Al-Jlaydan based on the request of the team's French coach, Laurent Blanc, to strengthen the right-back position during the summer transfer window.
Al-Jlaydan will join the Ittihad camp next Friday in Hong Kong, in preparation for the team's matches in the Saudi Super Cup.
