تعود منافسات دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة ودوري أبطال آسيا2 إلى الواجهة من خلال مواجهات الدور التمهيدي لموسم 2025-2026، الثلاثاء 12 أغسطس.
وأكد الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم عبر موقعه الرسمي في الشبكة العنكبوتية أن 4 فرق سوف تتنافس على بطاقتين متاحتين لمرحلة الدوري في دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة، فيما تسعى 6 أندية لحجز 3 بطاقات مؤهلة لدور المجموعات في دوري أبطال آسيا2، حسب ما أفرزه التوزيع النهائي للمقاعد في يونيو الماضي.
ففي دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة لمنطقة الشرق، ستُقام المواجهة على بطاقة التأهل لمرحلة الدوري على ستاد فينكس هيل سبورتس بارك في تشينغدو، حيث يستضيف نادي تشينغدو رونغتشينغ الصيني نظيره بانكوك يونايتد التايلاندي.
وفي المقابل، يتواجه في منطقة الغرب نادي الدحيل القطري مع فولاذ سيباهان الإيراني على ستاد خليفة الدولي في الريان، حيث يتصارع الفريقان على حجز بطاقة التأهل إلى مرحلة الدوري.
وسينضم الفائزان من هذين اللقاءين إلى 22 فريقاً تأهل مباشرة إلى مرحلة الدوري، بينما ينتقل الخاسران إلى دور المجموعات من بطولة دوري أبطال آسيا2.
وفي دوري أبطال آسيا2 لمنطقة الشرق، يتنافس بيرسيب باندونغ الإندونيسي ومانيلا ديغر الفلبيني على بطاقة العبور لدور المجموعات، في لقاء يُقام يوم 13 أغسطس على ستاد غيلورا باندونغ لاوتان آبي في مدينة باندونغ.
أما في منطقة الغرب، فستقام مباراتان في اليوم نفسه لتحديد المتأهلَين لدور المجموعات. الأولى على ستاد تورسونزاده المركزي في تورسونزاده وتجمع بين نادي ريغار تاداز الطاجيكي وأهال التركماني، والثانية تجمع بين نادي غوا الهندي مع نادي السيب العُماني، وتُقام على ستاد بانديت جواهر لال نهرو في غوا.
وسيتأهل الفائزون من هذه المباريات الثلاث إلى دور المجموعات، لينضموا إلى 29 فريقاً تأهل مباشرة، فيما سينتقل الثلاثي الخاسر إلى دور المجموعات من دوري التحدي الآسيوي 2025-2026.

The AFC Champions League and AFC Champions League 2 competitions return to the forefront with the preliminary round matches for the 2025-2026 season on Tuesday, August 12.
The Asian Football Confederation confirmed through its official website that 4 teams will compete for 2 available spots in the league stage of the AFC Champions League, while 6 clubs are vying for 3 qualifying spots for the group stage of AFC Champions League 2, according to the final allocation of slots announced last June.
In the AFC Champions League for the East region, the match for the league stage qualification will take place at the Phoenix Hill Sports Park in Chengdu, where the Chinese club Chengdu Rongcheng will host the Thai club Bangkok United.
Meanwhile, in the West region, Qatari club Al Duhail will face Iran's Foolad Sepahan at Khalifa International Stadium in Al Rayyan, as both teams compete for a spot in the league stage.
The winners of these two matches will join 22 teams that have qualified directly for the league stage, while the losers will move to the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2.
In the AFC Champions League 2 for the East region, Indonesian club Persib Bandung and Filipino club Manila Digger will compete for a spot in the group stage, in a match taking place on August 13 at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium in Bandung.
In the West region, two matches will be held on the same day to determine the qualifiers for the group stage. The first will be at the Central Tursunzade Stadium in Tursunzade, featuring Tajik club Regar-TadAZ against Turkmen club Ahal, while the second will see Indian club Goa face Omani club Al-Seeb at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa.
