Lance, the French club, officially announced the signing of Saudi international star Saud Abdulhamid on loan from Italian club Roma during the current summer transfer window.

Lance issued a statement on its official website stating: "From one red and gold shirt to another! Saud Abdulhamid (38 international matches with the Saudi national team) is one of the key figures in Saudi football, and he continues his European journey this time in the Artois region, after spending a season with Italian club Roma, where he participated in the UEFA Europa League. The 26-year-old player Saud Abdulhamid joins the ranks of French club Lance on loan for one season with an option to buy."

Right-back Saud Abdulhamid preferred to continue his professional career abroad and play in the French league, and Lance succeeded in outmaneuvering Toulouse to secure the player from Italian club Roma.

Saud Abdulhamid joined Italian club Roma in the summer of 2024 on a four-year contract coming from Al Hilal club.
