أحاطت اللجنة العليا المنظمة لدورة الألعاب السعودية، عبر تعميم صادر للاتحادات والأندية المشاركة في الدورة، عن عدم إقامة النسخة الرابعة من دورة الألعاب السعودية هذا العام 2025 على أن يتم تحديد مواعيد رسمية تعلن لاحقاً.
وعبرت اللجنة من خلال التعميم الذي بُث للاتحادات والأندية الرياضية أن عدم إقامة الدورة هذا العام يأتي في إطار حرص اللجنة المنظمة على تهيئة بيئة تنافسية مثالية للرياضيين، ومنح الفرصة للاعبي ولاعبات المنتخبات السعودية، وتقديم تجربة رياضية متميزة تلبي تطلعات المشاركين، للاستعداد بشكل أفضل للاستحقاقات القادمة في عام 2025، المتمثلة في استضافة المملكة لدورة الألعاب الرياضية السادسة للتضامن الإسلامي نوفمبر القادم، ودورة الألعاب العالمية التي تستضيفها الصين في أغسطس القادم، ودورة الألعاب الآسيوية الثالثة للشباب التي تستضيفها المنامة أكتوبر القادم.

The Supreme Organizing Committee for the Saudi Games announced, via a circular issued to the participating federations and clubs, that the fourth edition of the Saudi Games will not be held this year, 2025, with official dates to be announced later.
The committee expressed through the circular broadcast to the sports federations and clubs that the decision not to hold the games this year comes as part of the organizing committee's commitment to creating an ideal competitive environment for athletes, providing an opportunity for Saudi national team players, and delivering an exceptional sports experience that meets the aspirations of participants, in order to better prepare for the upcoming events in 2025. These events include the Kingdom hosting the sixth Islamic Solidarity Games next November, the World Games hosted by China next August, and the third Asian Youth Games hosted by Manama next October.
