في وقتٍ يسود فيه الهدوء وسط المشهد الهلالي، تُخفي الكواليس حراكًا إداريًا غير معلن، عنوانه: فهد المفرج يُفكر في الرحيل، وفهد بن نافل يتمسّك بالبقاء.
مصادر «عكاظ» الخاصة كشفت أن المدير التنفيذي لكرة القدم بنادي الهلال فهد المفرج، أبدى رغبة صريحة في الابتعاد عن المشهد، مكتفيًا بمرحلة طويلة من العمل الإداري رافقت أكبر إنجازات الأزرق محليًا وقاريًا.
رئيس النادي فهد بن نافل، ووفق المصادر ذاتها، يرفض فكرة مغادرة المفرج بشكل نهائي، ويسعى إلى إبقائه ضمن الطاقم الإداري، ولكن من بوابة منصب جديد لا يرتبط مباشرة بالضغوط اليومية للعمل الميداني، في خطوة تهدف إلى الحفاظ على خبرة المفرج، دون أن تُثقل كاهله بالأعباء السابقة.
المفرج -الذي لم يُدلِ بأي تصريح علني حتى الآن- لا يزال يدرس القرار النهائي، في وقت لم يُحسم فيه حضوره من عدمه ضمن معسكر الفريق القادم في أوروبا.
وبين تمسّك إداري ورغبة شخصية في الابتعاد، يبدو أن الهلال على أعتاب إعادة ترتيب بعض أوراقه الداخلية، وسط إشادة واسعة بالدور الذي لعبه المفرج في بناء استقرار الفريق خلال الأعوام الماضية، والتي قد تجعل وجوده حتى من خلف الستار، أمرًا ضروريًا في نظر الإدارة.
