لجنة التنسيق الآسيوي تناقش تحضيرات «الرياض 2026»

The Coordination Committee for the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games "Riyadh 2026" held a meeting with the organizing committee of the event today (Wednesday) in the Grand Conference Hall at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Olympic Complex in Riyadh, attended by the Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee and member of the Supreme Organizing Committee for the event, Prince Fahd bin Jiluwi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid, and member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Abdullah bin Fahd bin Abdullah, Assistant Minister of Sports Abdulilah bin Saad Al-Dalak, member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee Dr. Ghassan Tashkandi, and the Chief Executive Officer and Secretary General of the Olympic and Paralympic Committee Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Baashan.

Prince Fahd bin Jiluwi expressed his highest gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for their significant support, which has contributed to placing the Kingdom among the best and most suitable countries to host major sporting events, under the supervision of the President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, and in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

This came during his speech at the meeting, where he said: "The Kingdom's hosting of this event represents a landmark in the history of sports movement in the region, as it is the first country from the western part of Asia to host this major sporting event."

The members of the Coordination Committee of the Asian Olympic Council were briefed on the services that will be provided during the event, which include the accommodation for the participating athletes, services provided to the national Olympic committees participating in the event, and the procedures for obtaining entry visas and accreditation cards for participation in the event.

The meeting reviewed the medical services provided during the event, communication and networking services, ceremonies and protocol, marketing, and doping control.

The Coordination Committee team included the Vice President of the Asian Olympic Council Dr. Thani Al-Kuwari, the Secretary General of the Jordanian Olympic Committee Rana Al-Saeed, the Deputy Director General of the Asian Olympic Council Vinod Tiwari, and the Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee Fares Al-Kohji.
