حقق المنتخب السعودي لكرة السلة تحت 16 عامًا فوزًا مستحقًا على نظيره الكويتي بنتيجة (73-50)، في اللقاء الذي جمعهما أمس السبت على صالة أم الحصم بمملكة البحرين، وذلك ضمن منافسات البطولة الخليجية لكرة السلة.
وأظهر «الأخضر» تفوقا واضحا منذ انطلاقة المواجهة، حيث أنهى الشوط الأول متقدمًا بفارق كبير (38-20)، وواصل هيمنته خلال مجريات الشوط الثاني ليحسم المباراة بفارق 23 نقطة.
وبهذا الانتصار، اختتم المنتخب السعودي مشاركته في البطولة الخليجية بانتصار ثمين، ضامنًا تأهله رسميًا إلى بطولة كأس آسيا تحت 16 عاما، المقررة إقامتها في منغوليا عام 2025.

The Saudi national basketball team under 16 achieved a well-deserved victory over their Kuwaiti counterpart with a score of (73-50) in the match that took place yesterday, Saturday, at the Um Al-Hassam Hall in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as part of the Gulf Basketball Championship.
The "Green" team showed clear superiority from the start of the match, finishing the first half with a significant lead (38-20), and continued to dominate throughout the second half to secure the game by a margin of 23 points.
With this victory, the Saudi team concluded its participation in the Gulf Championship with a valuable win, officially securing its qualification for the Under-16 Asian Cup, scheduled to be held in Mongolia in 2025.
