أعلن نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة رئيس لجنة التقويم الوطني لمحافظة جدة، الأمير سعود بن مشعل بن عبدالعزيز، عن استضافة مدينة جدة لمنافسات الجولة الرابعة من بطولة العالم لسباقات (الزوارق السريعة - الفورمولا 1) - جائزة جدة الكبرى - وذلك ضمن سلسلة برامج وفعاليات موسم جدة (2025).
وتُعد استضافة الحدث العالمي تأكيدًا على المكانة المتنامية التي تحتلها مدينة جدة على خارطة الفعاليات الرياضية الدولية، وانعكاسا لرؤية المملكة في تعزيز حضورها في استضافة الأحداث العالمية الكبرى.
وأوضح الرئيس التنفيذي لـ H2O Racing رايموندو دي سان جيرمانو، عن سعادته لاستضافة المملكة العربية السعودية لمنافسات بطولة العالم لسباقات ( الزوارق السريعة - الفورمولا1)، قائلًا: «نحن في غاية الحماس لمتابعة هذه الإثارة في مدينة جدة عروس البحر الأحمر»، منوهًا إلى أن هذه الشراكة تُمثّل بداية تعاون طويل الأمد وتطويرًا للبطولة على مختلف الأصعدة.

The Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region and Chairman of the National Assessment Committee for Jeddah, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, announced that the city of Jeddah will host the fourth round of the World Championship for (Formula 1 Powerboat Racing) - the Jeddah Grand Prix - as part of the series of programs and events for Jeddah Season (2025).
Hosting this global event confirms the growing status of the city of Jeddah on the map of international sporting events and reflects the Kingdom's vision to enhance its presence in hosting major global events.
The CEO of H2O Racing, Raimundo Di San Germano, expressed his happiness for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosting the World Championship for (Formula 1 Powerboat Racing), stating: "We are extremely excited to witness this excitement in the city of Jeddah, the Bride of the Red Sea," noting that this partnership represents the beginning of a long-term collaboration and development of the championship on various levels.
