أطلق الاتحاد السعودي للسباحة برنامج «إجادة السباحة» بنسخته الجديدة ابتداء من يوليو 2025، في إطار جهوده المستمرة لتعزيز ثقافة السباحة ورفع مستوى الأمان والسلامة المائية بين أفراد المجتمع.
ويهدف البرنامج إلى منح شهادة معتمدة في إجادة السباحة للمواطنين والمقيمين، ما يسهم في تعزيز فرص الحصول على وظائف، خصوصاً في القطاعات التي تتطلب مهارات السباحة المعتمدة في إطار التعليم، والأمن، والسلامة.
وتُنفذ الاختبارات في عدد من المسابح المعتمدة بوزارة الرياضة في مختلف مناطق المملكة، تشمل الرياض، وجدة، والدمام، والمدينة المنورة، ومكة المكرمة، وجازان، وأبها، والطائف، وحائل، ووادي الدواسر، ونجران، والأحساء، وعرعر، ويشترط للتقدم على البرنامج التسجيل بالموقع الإلكتروني للاتحاد واجتياز الفحص الطبي، وتعبئة نموذج التسجيل، وإحضار الزي المخصص للسباحة، إضافة إلى الهوية الوطنية أو الإقامة.
ويُعدّ البرنامج مبادرة نوعية من الاتحاد السعودي للسباحة، ويُشكل خطوة مهمة نحو نشر الوعي بأهمية مهارة السباحة بصفتها أداة إنقاذ وحماية، إضافة إلى تمكين الأفراد من فرص مهنية جديدة.

The Saudi Swimming Federation launched the "Swimming Proficiency" program in its new version starting from July 2025, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote a culture of swimming and enhance water safety and security among community members.
The program aims to provide an accredited swimming proficiency certificate for citizens and residents, which contributes to enhancing job opportunities, especially in sectors that require certified swimming skills in the fields of education, security, and safety.
The tests will be conducted in a number of approved swimming pools by the Ministry of Sports in various regions of the Kingdom, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Medina, Mecca, Jazan, Abha, Taif, Hail, Wadi Al-Dawasir, Najran, Al-Ahsa, and Arar. To apply for the program, it is required to register on the federation's website, pass a medical examination, fill out the registration form, and bring the designated swimming attire, in addition to a national ID or residency permit.
The program is considered a qualitative initiative by the Saudi Swimming Federation and represents an important step towards raising awareness of the importance of swimming skills as a tool for rescue and protection, in addition to empowering individuals with new career opportunities.
