قرر المدير الفني للمنتخب الوطني الأول «دونيس» استدعاء حارس مرمى النادي الأهلي عبدالرحمن الصانبي، للالتحاق بمعسكر الأخضر في نيويورك، والمقام في إطار المرحلة الرابعة والأخيرة من برنامج إعداد الأخضر للمشاركة في كأس العالم 2026.
وميدانيا واصل المنتخب الوطني تدريباته في مدينة نيويورك ضمن معسكره الإعدادي المقام في إطار المرحلة الرابعة والأخيرة من برنامج الإعداد لكأس العالم 2026.
وأجرى لاعبو الأخضر حصتهم التدريبية على ملاعب مركز تدريب نادي نيويورك سيتي، تحت إشراف المدير الفني جورجيوس دونيس، حيث بدأت الحصة التدريبية بمران الإحماء، أعقبها مران الاستحواذ على الكرة، قبل أن يطبّق اللاعبون تمارين تكتيكية.
من جهة أخرى، واصل اللاعب نواف العقيدي برنامجه التأهيلي الخاص بمتابعة الجهاز الطبي.
وعلى صعيد متصل، من المقرر أن يلتحق لاعب المنتخب الوطني سعود عبدالحميد بمعسكر الأخضر صباح اليوم (الخميس)، وذلك بعد استكمال كافة الإجراءات اللازمة المتعلقة باستخراج وثائقه الرسمية.
ويواصل الأخضر في تمام السادسة من مساء اليوم تدريباته بحصة تدريبية مغلقة على ملاعب مركز تدريب نادي نيويورك سيتي.
