اتهم الاتحاد الإنجليزي لكرة القدم، اليوم الأربعاء، المهاجم الأوكراني ميخايلو مودريك، لاعب نادي تشيلسي، بانتهاك لوائح مكافحة المنشطات، على خلفية نتيجة إيجابية أظهرتها عينة بول خضع لها في وقت سابق من العام الماضي، في إطار اختبار روتيني.
وأوضح الاتحاد الإنجليزي في بيان رسمي أن اللاعب البالغ من العمر 24 عاماً، متهم بوجود أو استخدام مادة محظورة، استناداً إلى المادتين 3 و4 من لائحة مكافحة المنشطات، مشيراً إلى أن القضية ما تزال قيد النظر، ما يحد من إمكانية إصدار أي تعليقات إضافية في هذه المرحلة.
وكان مودريك قد أعلن في ديسمبر الماضي تلقيه إخطاراً بوجود نتيجة إيجابية لاختبار منشطات، مؤكداً حينها أنه فوجئ تماماً بالنتيجة، نافياً أي تعمد في تناول مادة محظورة، وقال إنها كانت «صدمة» بالنسبة له.
وتنص لوائح مكافحة المنشطات على تطبيق العقوبات عند ثبوت وجود مادة محظورة في العينة، أو في حال استخدام، أو محاولة استخدام، أي مادة أو وسيلة ممنوعة، ما يعرّض اللاعب لاحتمال الإيقاف لمدة تصل إلى أربع سنوات، ما لم يتمكن من إثبات عدم تعمده ارتكاب المخالفة.
يُذكر أن مودريك انضم إلى صفوف تشيلسي في يناير 2023 قادماً من شاختار دونيتسك الأوكراني في صفقة قدرت بقيمة 62 مليون جنيه إسترليني، لكنه لم يشارك في أي مباراة منذ الإعلان عن التحقيق، وظل خاضعاً للإيقاف المؤقت حتى انتهاء مجريات القضية.

The English Football Association accused Ukrainian striker Mykhailo Mudryk, a player for Chelsea, of violating anti-doping regulations on Wednesday, following a positive result from a urine sample he provided earlier last year during a routine test.
The FA stated in an official announcement that the 24-year-old player is accused of the presence or use of a banned substance, based on Articles 3 and 4 of the anti-doping regulations, noting that the case is still under review, which limits the possibility of issuing any further comments at this stage.
In December, Mudryk announced that he had received notification of a positive doping test result, expressing that he was completely shocked by the result and denying any intention to take a banned substance, stating that it was a "shock" for him.
The anti-doping regulations stipulate that sanctions will be applied if a banned substance is found in the sample, or if there is use or attempted use of any prohibited substance or method, which exposes the player to a potential suspension of up to four years, unless he can prove that he did not intentionally commit the violation.
It is worth noting that Mudryk joined Chelsea in January 2023 from Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk in a deal valued at £62 million, but he has not participated in any matches since the announcement of the investigation and remains under provisional suspension until the case is resolved.
