The Asian national teams that will participate in the qualifying playoff for the 2026 World Cup have been finalized, after the Saudi team failed to secure a direct qualification spot following their loss to Australia by two goals to one in the match held at the Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah during the last round of matches in Group C. Six teams from the third and fourth places in the three groups of the Asian qualifiers have qualified for the Asia playoff for the 2026 World Cup, with Saudi Arabia finishing third in Group C and Indonesia in fourth place, while the UAE and Qatar qualified from Group A, and Iraq and Oman qualified from Group B.

The six teams will be divided into two groups, each consisting of three teams, competing in a single round, with the top team from each group advancing to the 2026 World Cup, while the winner of the match between the second-placed teams will advance to the global playoff.
